a u es wi h a oo no e hin (Hocke 1959, p.121) o Tschižewskij’s Fo malis ische Dich-
ung bei den Sla en (1958).3 The he o ic o ‘conce ismo’, he in luence o Kabbalah

oque poe ics. In o de o de end his goal, Tschižewskij was eady wi h his ex s o

e m ‘Ba oque’ and i s applica ion o li e a u e and cul u e,5 and he p esen ed his
concep o aWes e n schola ly audience whose membe s we e no acquain ed wi h
Sla ic Ba oque li e a u es (Tschižewskij 1968).
