Time constructions!, whose main focus is a verb, a dependent preposition through the noun ending, are very productive and o frequently used in contemporary — Lithuanian literary language. su ir As time iš constructions with consonants su are distinguished by their productivity in the final part su of the construction, iš so time constructions su with — consonants su are distinguished by their productivity in the prefix per. Until now, constructions with the su prefix per have not been specifically examined: only the meanings of the prefix per itself have been raised. However, as with other prepositions, ir the meaning of per cannot be separated from the meaning of the whole construction. Most data on the meaning of the preposition during the use of time in our ancient writings provides E. Frenkels®. It distinguishes four cases of the preposition in usage, indicating in general traits which nouns of meaning the preposition is used with. su A. Sleicheris® only briefly mentions the meaning of the preposition during the time of use, giving a few examples. F. Kuršaitis* only distinguishes two meanings of the preposition over time. J. Jablonskis In,,Length ir prepositions“* the preposition is not described by means of meanings, but o only gives some examples of time meanings among other meanings. ir A. Senas* distinguishes three meanings of the preposition over time, but does not illustrate them with jealousy. The most extensive study of the prepositional meanings over time in the current literary language E. "Academic Dissertation in Academic ir Grammar". $ 2. The differences in su the prepositions of temporal constructions through the differences of meanings are usually 1) determined by the following factors: the meaning of the verb that is the main focus ir of the 2) construction, the lexical meaning of the dependent 3) su noun, the lexical grammatical characteristics of the sign ir used as a noun ir 4) the number form of the dependent noun. Ne in all cases these factors are equally important: one factor is more important in one case — than the other. Taking into į account the peculiarities of ir the grammatical structure of the lexical structure, according to the meaning, five groups of time constructions su are distinguished here: 1) constructions denoting action moment of ir jo time, constructions 2) denoting action ir jo time period, constructions 3) denoting action frequency, constructions ir jo denoting action 4) ir jo duration ir 5) constructions representing the term for the realization ir jo of the action. It should be noted that the time structures of the prepositions are not distinctly su differentiated. There are many transitional cases, crossing of meanings. Therefore, by distinguishing one meaning from another, it is always possible to ne avoid subjectivity. Constructions denoting an action and its moment or period of time $ 4. The dependent noun of constructions with the prefix per, denoting an action and its moment or period of time, can have both the singular and plural ending form.
