LITHUANIAN KALBOTYROS QUESTIONS, XXXII (1993) BALTIC DEAPELIATYVINIAI ASMENY NAVAI PAGAL -—KORIMIS, BUVIMO IR GYVENIMO VIETA (Deapelative names of persons according to origin, presence and place of residence) We call deapeliative names of persons according to origin, presence and place of residence, which are made not from actual names, but from generic nouns denoting residence or non-residence, adjectives of spatial meaning and local—spatial adverbs, e.g.: daubiškis: daubd, girininkas: girid, kaimiétis: kaimas, šišioniškis: šišion, tolitis: tolūs; far away, ūžupis: for-+ūpė, vandénis: water. Such vedas describe not only individuals, but also various personified mythological beings (e.g.: girykštis "the spirit of the hills, forest man", woody "the goddess of the forests", naeminiikas "the wind", pragūris "the devil"), winds "(pictasis, rytys, šiaurūnelis, vakūris) or euphemically named wolves (wild, wild-life), snakes (palaužė), toads (pamatinė). This group of Vedic words would also include the denotant local suffixes!, denoting someone's characteristics derived from the place (e.g., hare m 1 škis, birdtelecirakstunsliai, horse-archer). The formation of lexical semantic word groups is partly related to word formation, its categories and types. Desubstantiative suffixes of place meaning and names of persons (personified beings) according to the place of origin, presence and residence, due to their very nature, have a fairly transparent "motivation and have a general categorical action meaning: "what is related to the reference word indicates the place". In addition, both the first and second forms express the same forms and formants. Svarbiausias straipsnio tikslas —aptarti deapeliatyvinių asmenų pavadinimų pagal kilimo, buvimo bei gyvenamąją vietą būdingus darybos bruožus bei specifiką, kadangi iki šiol kiek detaliau jie tebuvo apžvelgti "Lietuvių kalbos į Priedėliai, dažniausiai vartojami tautosakos kūriniuose, apibūdina veikėją pagal įvairius požymius: pagal jo išvaizdą (gžuolas §imtal apis, žirgas ši r vinykas), pagal atliekamą veiksmą (beržėlis sv yr uo n e | 1 5s, paukštužėliai čiulbužėliai), pagal buvimo viet; , (vežis p a k e r § s) —pastaruosius čia taip pat apžvelgsime dar kitaip. — ar 114.

Conclusions 1. The analysis of the opposition of the work allows us to say that in the work of personal names according to origin, residence and place of residence tends to engage somewhat limited (both morphologically and lexically) by the number of reference words. From a morphological — point of view, these are various nouns denoting a place (mostly nomenclatural terms), adjectives of space meaning (near, far, far away) and adjectives of spatial meaning (near, here, downstairs, far, there, there). In lexical terms, it is — a group of stems that can form derivatives in several forms, e.g. gir-, kaim-, su kaln-, kiem-, lauk-, mar-, med-, mest-, mišk-, nam-, sal-, sod-, šil-, up-. 2. The most productive suffixes: -inis, -ė, -(in)inkas, -ė, -iskis, -ė, -ietis, -ė, -ėnas. The least productive suffixes — -aitis, -ė, -(i)ukas, -ė, ~-(i)onas, -(1)onis, -€, -e, -ykstis, -tinas, -ulis, -¢, -ienas, -¢, -ienis, -ienius and one ir more rare one. The names of the prefixes, the derivatives of the extremities, the compound names of persons are not augmented. ; Adverbs -inis, the -ė abundance of Vedic derived from its universality: this suffix 1) su usually does not cause any morphological difficulties when making personal names (this cannot be said of the adverbs -ailis, -ė, -utis, -ė, dalies iš ir -ietis, -ė derivativo es, adverbs -ukas, the -ė morphological node often prevents the formation of derivatives); the derivatives of 2 this suffix can realize the meanings of all three semantic subgroups, which can be briefly described as the presence of a person where, origin a) b) iš (from) where ir c) slankneį ss where. Second-order adverbs -(in)inkas, -ė the abundance of Vedas may have been determined by the fact that su ja consists mainly of derivatives of the third semantic subset. Su the third adjective in order of harmony -ish, -ė consisting mainly of derivativjo es of the second-semantic su subgroup, -tetis, -ė — the first. Significantly mx ja suffixes -one of the derivatives: su ja usually only form names of male gender. 3. It should be noted that a large number of deapellative names of persons according to their origin, location and place of residence tend to pass the vernacular test, cf.: miškinis gyvėntojas, pl. į dy forest-dwelling mice > > Miškiniai (pronouns that have arisen from the iš names of persons according to the characteristics of the place of residence — Foresters, archers — Mr. Jonikas called them residents®). It is not difficult to find parallels with nicknames and su surnames, e.g. : Back, Lankūtis, Pakalniškis, Tolūtis etc. ir This feature of deapellative person names indicates the need for further jų research. 9 See.
