DARIUSIVOŠKA,ANDREJRYČKOV 14 Act of Linguistic Lithuanian XCI In the 14th and 16th centuries, attention was drawn to the fact that in court cases involving property, land boundaries, duties, and proof of belonging, such as witnesses, oral memory preservation, and customary law, the "old people" (Russian: старые люди, мужи старые, lot senes) were used (Chekis labo: 121134). The purpose of this article is to establish the time, circumstances and history of the recording of the protocol of the interrogation of the witnesses, and to clarify what was the protocol of the preservation of the memory of the collective of the communities of Giedraičių, Utenos, Tauragnų and Balninkų, and how it was expressed. tus11.Visųjųteisėspapročiųišmanymasiriškartosįkartąperduodamaatmintis turėjokeltipasitikėjimątiekbylosšalims(arbabentvienaiišjų,t.y.Radvilai 9 Miška Jevičius, Macovskis, Trusia, Ivan Jurkovičius, Ivan Šina Žukovičius (Čelkis 2023): This is a list of people who were born in, residents of, or otherwise closely associated with the city of Čelkis. 127–128). In the back part of the protocol there are also four entries that allow to judge the history of its archiving between the 19th and 19th centuries.21 The earliest dated to the middle of the 16th century.22 In it, as in the entire text of the protocol, the manor of Vyžurino was not yet mentioned.25 In the archives of Mikhail Ravilov and Juri Radvilov, it was preserved together with the documents of the manor of Vyžurino in the middle of the 16th century as well as in the time of Aspen (Malezhitsa: 15151515-2015).25 In the archives of the former manor of Vyžurino, the document was not mentioned in the register of the other documents. Thus, during the time of George Radvila's son, Mikhail Radvila Rudojo or Anuko Kristupo Radvila Perkūno, around the end of the 16th century, when new personal archives were created and preserved, the forgotten part of the protocol was once again recorded in the Jamežonas Vilnius from 1605. 20 Register of old swaddling supplies in Uszpolem and Wizunami Bryngielowa drug, which This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. 21 See also Appendix 1 (Original). 22 Swiadkowie na uszpolskie ziemię radziwilowskie. First of all, the term Lithuanian (leitis) meant belonging to the monarch's social military organization, and only later began to be identified with the ethnic group, and even later with the Lithuanian political nation. In addition to the name, the surnames that were common at the time, the words that more accurately identified the person, often in relation to his background (Aramaic: ραμιον), kinship, profession, etc. For example, the name of the person was given to the place of residence of the father of the 14th century, and the surname of the 14th century was given to the place of residence of the 14th century. Kesgaylo et Zzwinwolt Wolymuntonis and others (at the same time), 1409 Andrei Olgerdowitsch, Witold Keistutiewitsch (RLA 138). The naming of persons of noble rank and lesser rank on the basis of the father's name or descriptive appeals became the basis of the form and the 16th century.33 In this work, the names written in the protocols of the witnesses are reliably transferred to the protocol during the transition period, when the name of the witness is converted to the ancestor. The Commission therefore concludes that the aid is compatible with the internal market within the meaning of Article 107 (3) (c) of the Treaty. 31 For example, Algirdo belonged to the army and the stachiatic identity of Antanas, John and Eustathius (Baron pavardėms(Maciejauskienė1991:31).Pastebėtina,kadpirmojipaveldimągiminėsvardąįgijoLietuvosdidikųGoštautųgiminė,naudojusijįpervisąXVa. 2000); see also Zinkevičius 2005: 1552. The use of the word "dwelling place" in the identification of a person is also characteristic of earlier times, cf. 1264 Pabilde de Croen, 1284 Rameyze de Kernowe (RSB 83, 84). 33 The last member of the family […] Stanislovas Goštautas died in 1542 (Petrauskas 2003: 112; Ragauskienė 2015:118).

This can be deduced not only from the fact that only the witnesses from Giedraičiai are called by the term of nobility, but almost all the remaining witnesses are named only by name, and by the name of the Giedraičiai […] and their father. In this case, the nobles of Stanisław (Stankaus) could be the first subjects of the bride Ekimai (da Ekimić, brat ego Monić), as well as Ginevitis Kriačević (Kinevit Kriačević). Judging by the dating of the manuscript, it can be assumed that the witnesses were representatives of the second or third generation after the adoption of Lithuanian baptism, despite the Christianization process that lasted for about a century, many of whom still used national Lithuanian names. • supplemented the list of Lithuanian historical personal names with 13 new names, not only not used in today's name, but also not found among known historical personal names: mononyms and double national Lithuanian surnames Bernutis, Daugeidas, Kičius, Madenis Modenis, Melikis Mėlikis, Purpšys, Raugeta Raugeta, Rutis, Tratilas, Videita, Viešgalas, Žadutis Žimtodutis, Žvilis; In addition, the name of Daumantas, a representative of the second or third generation of the LDK, was written along with the names of 14 noble witnesses from the Giedraičių, who spoke important information about the Lithuanian surnames of the 15th century. Of the 9 minor surnames (other three in the protocol), 7 are Lithuanian surnames according to the Lithuanian surnames, almost one in 31 of the four major groups of witnesses, and the most clearly indicated is the Lithuanian surname: Stas Stanisławski, Stas Stanisławski, Stas Stanisławski, Stasławski. It is clear that the spread of Christian names was to be directly related to the spread of the network of churches and parishes.

Although the spread of Christian names is evident, there is a noticeable increase in the adaptation of surnames of other origins into the Lithuanian language, such as Jãčius, Mėčius, Pètkus, Stãnius, etc. This article raises the question of the search for the etymology of the Brengelian road, the Prengelsche weg, the Brinkele road and the Brengelian road, which has been established in the history of Lithuania, which has not been discussed in historical documents. DARIUSIVOŠKA,ANDREJRYČKOV 34 Acta Linguistica Lithuanica XCI (English and Lithuanian Language Act) Mapping the Boundaries of Vyžuonos: 15th-Century Personal Names and the Enduring Legacy of North-Eastern Lithuania Summary The study provides a detailed analysis of a witness-interview protocol from 1469-1477, involving witnesses from Gdańsk, Utena, Taurag, and Białystok, which was recorded by an anonymous court official in the mid-nineteenth century and documents the testimonies of 99 nobles and peasants. These witnesses, presented by Lord Radwał Asztakiewicz of Lithuania, unanimously affirmed the boundaries of the Gdańsk Manor, which was established by the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gdańsk's family for approximately four centuries. This document provides valuable insights into the Lithuanian onomastics by documenting the Algirdas(†1377)aroundacenturyearlieralongtheBrinkliškėsroad. Theresearchtracestheprotocol’shistory, revealingthatafterthetrial, itwasarchivedby names of 99 witnesses from the second half of the 15th century.Among these names, some have persisted as personal names or surnames in Lithuania today. However, it is particularly significant to note those that have fallen out of use, such as Bernutis, Daugeidas, Kičius, Madenis Modenis, Melikis Mėlikis, Purpšys, Raugeta Raugėta, Rimtutis, Tratilas, Videita, Viešgalas, Žadutis Žodutis, Žvilbutis. The research also uncovers crucial extra-linguistic information relevant to the study of the personal names of the Lithuanians and Balts: it reveals trends in naming practices, the influence of social status on naming conventions during the period, and the prevalence of Lithuanian names compared to those of other origins.
