To his aim, we analyze publica ion pa e ns o indi idual schola s du ing hei comple e

academic ca ee . We examine he publica ion his o y o 39,753 schola s om Spanish

speaking coun ies who s a ed publishing om 1950 onwa ds up o 2021. We conside a ound

1.2 million publica ions in all ou le s and languages, s udying 13 di e en ields om he

humani ies. Ou da ase is ex ac ed om Dialne (h ps://dialne .uni ioja.es/), a specialized

bibliog aphic da abase ocused on he social sciences and humani ies, main ained by he

Dialne Founda ion in collabo a ion wi h o e 80 Spanish and La in Ame ican uni e si ies and
