INTRODUCTION

ad e ising ex s o en ely hea ily on cul u al e e ences, idioms, and wo dplay ha

con ey he same message and impac in he ansla ed ex .
Secondly, ad e ising ex s o en use pe suasi e language and he o ical de ices ha

MATERIALS AND METHODS
Legal and e hical conside a ions may also play a ole in ansla ing ad e ising ex s.
Some coun ies may ha e egula ions o es ic ions on ce ain ypes o ad e ising o
claims ha can be made abou p oduc s o se ices. T ansla o s mus be awa e o hese
egula ions and ensu e ha he ansla ed ex complies wi h hem.
A s udy on social and poli ical lexis ansla ion, conduc ed by B eus, E.V. and
Komissa o , V.N., explo es he use o exp essi e means in he in o ma ion p esen ed.
The English newspape s yle employs a neu al desc ip ion o in o ma ion, wi h ewe
ins ances o wo ds wi h posi i e o nega i e conno a ions as compa ed o he Uzbek
language. T ansla o s om Russian o English mus be awa e o he peculia i ies o he
Uzbek language, which o en includes conno a i e o exp essi e wo ds, wi h he
possible loss o conno a i e meaning in he a ge language. The phenomenon called
" he e ec o an emo ional o na eness o he language" illus a es his poin . The
analysis o seman ics, syn ax, and p agma ics elucida es he impo ance o ans e ing
he p agma ics o he sou ce ex o he a ge ex . P agma ic ansc ea ion may in ol e
changes o he a ge ex o achie e equi alence in he eac ion o add essees o he
sou ce and a ge ex s.
The in o ma ion decoding p ocess assumes pa amoun impo ance in ansla ion as i
hinges upon he unde s anding o he in o ma ion con eyed in p ess accoun s. “When
ansla ing, he ansla o aims o execu e his unc ion while a emp ing o ans e he
subs ance o he in o ma ion desc ibed in he ad e ising ex s. The p ima y obliga ion

analyzing he language-speci ic aspec s o social and poli ical ex s and hei ansla ion

Decoding messages in p agma ics can p esen se e al challenges o bo h

1. Con ex ual in e p e a ion: The way a message is in e p e ed can depend hea ily on
he con ex in which i is deli e ed. P agma ic con ex , which includes ac o s such as
he speake 's one, body language, and su ounding social and cul u al cues, can ha e
a signi ican impac on how a message is pe cei ed and decoded.
2. Mul iple meanings: P agma ic messages o en con ain mul iple laye s o meaning,
which can make hem di icul o accu a ely in e p e . These mul iple meanings can be
in en ional o unin en ional and may be in luenced by cul u al and linguis ic
di e ences.
3. Idioma ic exp essions: P agma ic messages can o en include idioma ic exp essions
o igu es o speech, which can be ha d o in e p e o a pe son who is no amilia
wi h he language and cul u e. E en wi hin a sha ed language and cul u e, idioms can
ha e di e en meanings and in e p e a ions depending on he con ex .
4. I ony and sa casm: I ony and sa casm can be used o con ey a message ha is he
opposi e o wha is ac ually said. Decoding hese ypes o messages equi es an
unde s anding o he social and cul u al con ex in which hey a e being used.
5. Vagueness: P agma ic messages can be delibe a ely ague, lea ing i open o he
in e p e a ion o he ecei e . This can make i di icul o accu a ely decode he
in ended message.
O e all, he challenges o decoding p agma ic messages highligh he impo ance o
conside ing con ex , one, and cul u al ac o s when communica ing o ansla ing
messages.

o e emphasized, as can be he challenges associa ed wi h ansla ing ad e ising ex s
gi en hei eliance on specialized e ms and, a imes, a need o speci ic p eposi ions
o con ey he in ended meaning.
The p esen ed model demons a es he in e dependen na u e o p agma ic, seman ic
and s ylis ic elemen s o e ec i e ansla ion. This unde lines he need o a
p agma ically app op ia e ansla ion ha app op ia ely e lec s such aspec s while
ca e ing o he a ge audience’s needs:

and linguis ic expec a ions o he audience.
