Pu pose o he s udy: o s udy ends in he use o medicinal and he bal emedies o he
ea men o ca dio ascula diseases in Kazakhs an, he Republic o Bela us, and he Russian
Fede a ion.
Ma e ials and me hods: he s udy was conduc ed using a ques ionnai e. In Kazakhs an,
pha macis s om pha macy o ganiza ions (p ima y pha macis s – 75.3%; pha macy manage s and
hei depu ies – 16%) wi h 3 o 25 yea s o expe ience we e su eyed.
In he Republic o Bela us, he su ey co e ed pha maceu ical indus y specialis s: pha macis s
(63.3%) and pha macy manage s/depu y manage s (20%) wi h 13 o 25 yea s o expe ience. In he
Russian Fede a ion, he s udy in ol ed isi o s o pha macies in Pya igo sk, p ima ily women
(66.7%) aged 60–81 wi h low incomes.
Resul s: s a is ical da a p ocessing e ealed key ends: di e ences in he p e e ences o
specialis s and pa ien s ega ding he use o syn he ic and he bal medica ions; he in luence o
pha macis s' p o essional awa eness on ecommenda ions; and he p edominance o he bal emedies
among ce ain consume g oups. Regional di e ences in he de elopmen o p oduc anges and
ac o s in d ug selec ion we e also documen ed.
Conclusions: he s udy e ealed di e ences in he app oaches o specialis s and consume s o
he ea men o ca dio ascula diseases. The ob ained esul s can be used o ake egional di e ences
in o accoun when de eloping pha macy p oduc anges, as well as when upda ing pha macis aining
p og ams, inco po a ing he inno a i e iews o specialis s and consume s.
