Speci ically wi hin an accoun ing con ex , S anga and Ladd (1990) concluded ha accoun ing

(OCA). Resea ch by Simons e al. (1995) on USA s uden s con i ms his inding o OCA and
also epo ed w i en communica ion app ehension (WCA). A s udy by Fo dham and Gabbin
(1996) also con i med he high le el o CA in accoun ing majo s and emphasised he need o
accoun ing educa o s o pay special a en ion o communica ion app ehension sepa a e om,
and in addi ion o, communica ion skills. Class oom in e en ions used by Ruchala and Hill
(1994) achie ed some success in educing CA in accoun ing s uden s. Howe e , Aly and
