highligh ed due o i s lack o p ope ins uc ion and guidance o Seconda y School
s uden s, a hidden p oblem un il he pandemic. Fo ob ious easons, he opic canno be
ully examined o sol ed wi h a mino p ojec , like he one p esen ed o he
disse a ion, howe e , i can ini ia e s uden s in he li e-lea ning p ocess o he digi al
compe ence, especially in e ms o digi al iden i y, as i is he case.
Digi al compe ence is a new elemen in he syllabus, which gains mo e and mo e
impo ance in nowadays socie ies. The concep can be desc ibed as a echnology- ela ed
skill ha 21s cen u y ci izens should ha e so as o be able o be pa o he employed
popula ion. This concep ion has di e en backg ound disciplines (see Appendix IV). I
is one o he eigh key compe ences, de ined as “a combina ion o knowledge, skills and
a i udes” and conside ed o be “essen ial o gua an ee mo e lexibili y in he labou
o ce, allowing i o adap mo e quickly o cons an changes in an inc easingly
in e connec ed wo ld” acco ding o he Recommenda ion o he Eu opean Pa liamen
(2006).

eaching app oach (CLT) and he Second Language Acquisi ion heo ies (SLA), adap ed
o he p ojec -based language lea ning app oach which is de ailed in he ollowing

Bea ing in mind he gained expe ience, he uni was p epa ed o a simila class,
