This drawing shows perfromance venues that were used for symphonic concerts in the early period of Western concert life in Tokyo in the time between 1868 and 1945.
The top row shows rooms that were built before the Great Kantō earthquake (1–9), the bottom row shows rooms built after the earthquake (10–18).
