This document assesses the impact of digital transformation on HR functions and explores key performance indicators (KPIs) that evaluate HR effectiveness. II. METHOD. Automation and digitization of HR processes will benefit the organization, its employees and the HR department in many ways. Before starting your HR digital transformation, it's important to get a few things in order. Based on this assessment, you can get support from stakeholders and set goals and indicators. Then, you can create a digital HR strategy that is structured step-by-step on a digital transformation roadmap. Six stages of HR digital transformation: 1. Business as usual In this stage, HR operates as if the solutions it currently uses will stay relevant in the future. This stage is often characterized by: - A lack of awareness among leadership about the need for a shift toward digital - An almost non-existing impact of technology on the business and HR processes and a scattered HR technology landscape - HR processes that aren’t streamlined or standardized yet. 2. Present and active In this stage, various (groups of) people start to experiment, hence boosting digital agility and creativity within the HR organization.Actions during this stage include: - Developing a shared vision of digital HR together with the organization’s leaders - Building an HR technology roadmap for the future - Identifying your key objectives to redesign existing HR processes.

Formalized During the third stage, experimentation becomes intentional and garners more support from leadership.Elements that are important in this stage include: - Support from executive leadership to secure resources required to start building a formal digital HR strategy - Buying or building software solutions to start replacing existing systems and determining whether to proceed with the assistance of an implementation partner - A systematic clean-up of existing HR processes. This means, among other things, automating and eliminating time-consuming (non-essential) steps. 4. Strategic During this stage, HR departments recognize the power of collaboration, and most digital HR initiatives are executed by multidisciplinary teams.Actions to take during this stage include: - Aligning the HR technology roadmap with the organization’s overall digital roadmap - Training (part of) the HR team in design thinking and the lean startup experimentation method - Integrating digital skills within all HR roles and, if necessary, attracting key digital talent. 5. Converged In the fifth stage, a dedicated digital transformation team is created to guide the digital support of the HR strategy and operations.Elements to keep in mind during this stage: - Regularly align with business developments and needs - Work towards an integrated set of platforms and tools and ensure that all relevant HR tools are easily accessible for everyone involved - Use pulse surveys to collect feedback from employees and business stakeholders on the effectiveness of your processes and optimize where necessary.

Innovative and adaptive By now, digital transformation has become a continuous process in the organization and the new “business as usual”. Actions to consider at this point are: - Optimize your employee experience so that HR processes are virtually invisible - Assign a dedicated individual or a small team to oversee the growth and ongoing delivery of innovation within the HR department. Figure 1. Six stages of HR digital transformation. What is digital technology in HR? Digital technology in HR refers to the integration of digital technologies into Human Resources processes to make these more connected, effective, and efficient. 1. Digital transformation plays an important role in the strategic development of organizations today. This process also has a direct impact on the Human Resource Management (HR) system. As a result of the integration of traditional HR approaches with digital technologies, the processes of Human Resource Assessment, Selection, development and promotion are significantly optimized. This transformation requires the introduction of new indicators and analytical tools, especially when assessing the effectiveness of employees. One of the main advantages of digital HR systems is the ability to collect and analyze data in real time. For example, indicators such as the time of arrival and departure of employees to work, the duration of completing assignments, the quality of communication with customers are determined through automated systems. This allows management to make quick and informed decisions. The key performance indicators (KPIs) used in HR assessment systems in the context of digital transformation include: • Employee turnover Rate (Employee Turnover Rate) – through this indicator, the stability of employees in the organization is assessed. • Work productivity (Employee Productivity) – based on the volume of work performed by the employee and its quality. • Digital Skill Proficiency (Digital Skill Proficiency) - shows how effectively employees can use digital technology. • Employee turnover Rate (Employee Turnover Rate) – through this indicator, the stability of employees in the organizations. In addition, technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics provide the opportunity to automate and personalize decision-making in the HR field. For example, using AI algorithms, it is possible to identify the most suitable

However, there are also a number of problems with this transformation. The most basic of these are the low level of digital literacy of employees, difficulties in adapting to new technologies and the need to ensure the safety of personal data. Therefore, organizations should take into account not only technological, but also human factors in the introduction of digital transformation. Digital transformation and performance indicators Digital technologies help to make the assessment of human resources more effective. The following indicators are important in this process: Big Data and artificial intelligence - predicting and optimizing employee performance. Blockchain technologies - ensuring transparency of information and reliable management. Cloud technologies - real-time monitoring and analysis of human resource data. III. CONCLUSION. Effective assessment of human management resources serves the sustainable development of the organization. Through modern approaches and digital transformation, the potential of personnel can be effectively used. As a result, the organization's competitiveness increases and economic results improve. HR digital transformation is crucial for enhancing workforce efficiency, engagement, and strategic decision-making. By implementing relevant KPIs, organizations can measure progress and continuously optimize HR functions. A well-planned digital HR strategy fosters a productive, data-driven, and future-ready workforce.
