Intrоduсtiоn. The logical thinking ability of primary school students plays an important role in their education. Especially, developing logical thinking through work with shapes improves learning effectiveness. Working with shapes strengthens their abilities in analysis, synthesis, and comparison, and helps understand logical connections in problem-solving. Therefore, approaching logical thinking through imagination with shapes in primary school is a key tool for raising thinking to a new level. Developing imagination, finding new solutions, and creative work abilities in primary school students is crucial in the learning process. These skills enable children to think independently, generate unique ideas, and adapt to complex situations. Their development requires special methods and activities that encourage free thinking in various directions. Imagination allows students to think beyond their environment in imaginative forms. For example, they are encouraged to continue stories, invent new things, or try different approaches to existing objects. This, in turn, enhances their creative potential. To develop imagination, tasks like writing semi-finished stories together, drawing pictures they can imagine, and creating unique fairy tales can be assigned. For instance, the game shown in the attached image (picture 1) can increase students’ interest and imagination about shapes. The ability to find new solutions helps children offer unusual solutions to existing problems. To develop this skill, it is useful to guide students to solve various problems independently, conduct a “Brainstorming” session with them, or discuss questions beginning with “what if …”. Through these methods, children can develop different approaches and new ideas, which expands their ability to solve problems creatively. For example, in “Brainstorming”, SCIENCE AND INNOVATION INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL VOLUME 4 ISSUE 10 OCTOBER 2025 ISSN: 2181-3337 | SCIENTISTS.UZ 26 each student must share their idea on how to solve a problem, which also helps them develop teamwork skills. Creativa work skills encourage students to actively apply their thoughts and imaginations in practice. To develop this ability, art classes, handicraft lessons, and project-based work are considered effective. Students can be given tasks such as creating a new invention, drawing a picture, or making small models by hand. Creative work teaches them to express their ideas using various tools, which is important for developing children’s future professional skills and overall creative potential. 1-picture The "Brainstorming" method engages children in open communication and collaborative idea exchange. With this method, students freely express their thoughts and suggestions when solving a given problem, which increases their interest in trying out new solutions. Each participant can share unique ideas or proposals; no opinion is criticized or judged as right or wrong. This allows students to test logical and creative approaches, encouraging them to view problems from different perspectives and explore various alternative solutions. Through group work in brainstorming, students learn from one another and experience a creative process aimed at finding solutions together. The "What if..." method expands children's imaginative abilities. It involves asking unusual questions that go beyond simplicity, such as "What if all animals could talk?" or "What if there was no gravity on Earth?" These questions stimulate creative thinking. This method encourages students to abandon right or wrong answers and imagine unconventional scenarios. The "What if..." questions teach students to think outside existing rules and solve problems with interesting and innovative approaches. This method is very useful for developing imagination and unique problem-solving skills in children. Both methods are highly effective in fostering students’ creative abilities. They provide opportunities for testing ideas and expressing thoughts freely through broad thinking. The "Brainstorming" and "What if..." methods boost children’s self-confidence, promote finding new approaches, and enhance creative thinking skills. Additionally, the puzzles shown in this image (picture 2) help prevent students from getting bored during lessons and improve their logical thinking. Using these methods with primary school students proves even more effective. SCIENCE AND INNOVATION INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL VOLUME 4 ISSUE 10 OCTOBER 2025 ISSN: 2181-3337 | SCIENTISTS.UZ 27 2-picture The innovative approach involves moving beyond traditional methods to use modern and engaging techniques that help students acquire new knowledge. This approach introduces students to new ideas and technologies, increasing their interest in learning. Effective methods include using interactive educational technologies, digital games, virtual laboratories for experimentation, and engaging students in research and project-based work. This approach captures children's attention and accelerates their acquisition of knowledge and skills. Group work develops students' social abilities and encourages cooperative learning. It teaches children to express their ideas, listen to others, and offer mutual help. Each student has a role and responsibility towards achieving a common goal, learning teamwork rules and the importance of contributing to collective success. Group activities promote respect for others' opinions, collaborative problem-solving, and joint creation of new ideas. Skills development enables students to fully realize their personal potential. This is achieved through diverse teaching methods and activities that familiarize students with their interests and abilities. Developing imagination, problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills shapes their unique talents. Various arts classes, technical projects, scientific experiments, and social activities support mastery of new knowledge and skills, helping students identify their strengths and ways to further develop them. Today, fostering imagination, innovative problem-solving, and creative work skills in primary school students is crucial. In the fast-paced technological age, creativity and the ability to approach problems innovatively are highly valued. Developing imagination and creative thinking empowers children to become independent in life and learning, enabling them to solve challenges in unique ways beyond traditional thinking patterns. Through imagination, children gain a unique worldview, learning to see problems from different perspectives. This skill leads them to creative discoveries and ideas. For example, encouraging children to read science fiction, draw imaginative pictures, or create their own stories enhances their creative abilities. Imagination makes learning engaging and meaningful, while introducing them to imaginative and creative solutions applicable in various fields. The ability to find new solutions is especially vital today. Keeping pace with the times, properly using technology, and applying innovative methods lay the foundation for students' future success. SCIENCE AND INNOVATION INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL VOLUME 4 ISSUE 10 OCTOBER 2025 ISSN: 2181-3337 | SCIENTISTS.UZ 28 Developing this skill encourages children to approach any problem with innovation and creativity. Methods like "What if..." help them envision situations differently and find unconventional solutions. This ability boosts their further education and active problem-solving in life. Creative work skills allow children to test and develop their talents in practice. Today, creativity and unique approaches are demanded in all fields. Expressing ideas freely in art, science, technology, and others helps shape children into innovative individuals capable of breakthroughs. Providing opportunities for art activities, project creation, and using technology aids their self-expression and growth as confident creators. Thus, developing the imagination, finding new solutions and creative working skills of primary school students is current necessity, and these skills will greatly help them in the future to solve complex situations and develop as independent and creative individuals. Developing imagination, new solution-finding, and creative work skills in primary school students meets modern educational demands, significantly helping them solve complex problems and shape independent, creative personalities. Creativity is highly valued today, making early development crucial. This fosters flexibility and problem-solving ability during learning and in the future. Thus, education based on creativity and imagination in early stages plays a key role in intellectual and personal growth and prepares children to become successful members of society. Special lessons, group work, and engaging tasks should be employed to cultivate these skills effectively in primary students. Such an approach helps expand children’s creative abilities and cultivates a unique, innovative way of thinking in them. Cоnсlusiоn.
