This NOSI supports secondary data analysis, addressing questions and advancing SARS-CoV-2 scientific inquiry through existing RADx Data Hub resources, including and in conjunction with other data resources. Researchers can access RADx Underserved Populations (RADx-UP), RADx Tech, RADx Radical (RADx-rad), and RADx Digital Health Technologies (RADx-DHT) data. Reach out to the RADx Data Hub Partners to schedule a presentation OMB Race and Ethnicity Category Update Read the full NOSI here Subscribe Past Issues Translate The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) updated Statistical Policy Directive No. 15 (Directive No. 15): Standards for Maintaining, Collecting, and Presenting Federal Data on Race and Ethnicity on March 28. This directive revises previous federal agency race and ethnicity category standards. Key revisions include: Using one combined race and ethnicity question Adding a new Middle Eastern or North African (MENA) minimum category A requirement to collect additional detail beyond the minimum required race and ethnicity categories for most situations Updated terminology, definitions, and guidelines President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) Discusses Report on Supercharging Research PCAST met to discuss and consider approving a report to the President entitled, Supercharging Research: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence to Meet Global Challenges.
