During the research, the role of national values in military personnel training, modern methods of patriotic education, and their effectiveness were examined. The article discusses ways of integrating national values in military educational institutions, methods of patriotic upbringing, and the impact of this process on national security. The research findings indicate that national values and patriotic ideas, as an integral part of military education, play a crucial role in developing the professional and personal qualities of military personnel. Keywords military education, national values, patriotism, military upbringing, national ideology, military personnel, national security, professional training INTRODUCTION In the modern world, the military education system occupies an important place in ensuring state independence and security. The professional training of military personnel requires not only the acquisition of specialized knowledge and skills but also formation in the spirit of national values and patriotism. In the 21st century, amid global geopolitical changes and threats, the importance of national ideology and patriotic education in military training continues to grow. The integration of national values and patriotic upbringing in the military education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan is considered a pressing issue. This process serves not only to develop the personal qualities of military personnel but also to strengthen national security. The aim of the research is to analyze the role of national values and patriotic ideas in military education, assess their effectiveness in military personnel training, and identify ways to improve them. In the context of military education, national values serve as the primary guiding force in shaping the worldview and behavior of military personnel. As demonstrated in contemporary research, the integration of national values in military education is implemented in the following directions: Preservation of historical memory and national identity - during the military education process, national history, culture, and traditions are thoroughly studied and reinforced in the consciousness of military personnel. Moral and spiritual education - the moral and spiritual qualities of military personnel are developed based on national values. Awakening national pride - a sense of pride toward one's people, homeland, and state is cultivated. The Role of Patriotic Ideas in Military Personnel Training Patriotism is a deep feeling of love, loyalty, and devotion to one's homeland. Patriotic education in the military education system includes the following main components: Cognitive component: Acquiring deep knowledge about the history, geography, culture, and socio-political system of the homeland. During this process, military personnel gain comprehensive information about their state's geopolitical importance, economic potential, and cultural wealth. Emotional component: Developing deep love, pride, and a desire to protect the homeland. This component ensures the spiritual and emotional attachment of military personnel to their homeland. Activity component: Forming readiness to defend the interests of the homeland and the ability to demonstrate practical action. Methods of Integrating National Values in Military Educational Institutions The following innovative methods are being used to integrate national values in modern military educational institutions: Interactive teaching methods: Through role-playing games, simulations, and practical exercises, military personnel acquire skills in applying national values in real situations. Multimedia technologies: With the help of modern information technologies, information about national history, culture, and values is conveyed in a more effective and memorable manner. Mentoring system: Experienced military leaders directly participate in the process of educating young military personnel in the spirit of national values. Development of civic consciousness - military personnel are formed not only as soldiers but also as active citizens. Assimilation of the national security concept - knowledge about contemporary threats and methods of protection against them is provided. The Impact of National Values and Patriotic Ideas on the Development of Military Virtues Research demonstrates that national values and patriotic ideas play an important role in developing the following professional qualities of military personnel: Sense of responsibility: The sense of responsibility formed on the basis of national values strengthens military personnel's motivation to conscientiously fulfill their service duties. Collectivism and cooperation: The idea of national unity creates a strong atmosphere of collectivism and effective cooperation among military personnel. Determination and perseverance: Military personnel educated in the spirit of patriotism remain resolute and patient even in difficult situations. Methodological Foundations of Integrating National Values in Military Education The following methodological approaches are used for the effective integration of national values in the military education system: Systematic approach: National values are consistently taught and reinforced at all stages of military education. Person-oriented approach: Patriotic education is carried out taking into account the individual characteristics of each military personnel member. Activity-based approach: Theoretical knowledge is organically connected with practical activity and applied in real situations. CONCLUSION The research conducted on the role of national values and patriotic ideas in military education allows us to draw the following main conclusions: Strategic importance: National values and patriotic ideas represent a strategic direction of military education and are considered an important factor in ensuring national security. Continuous process: National values and patriotic education must be conducted continuously at all stages of military education. Future orientation: This process should be directed not only toward meeting current needs but also toward preparing for future threats. The research findings indicate that the role of national values and patriotic ideas in military education is continuously growing and this process is considered one of the important factors in strengthening national security.
