Natural sciences serve as the mainstay of scientific thinking, technological progress and sustainable development in modern society. Through them, humanity understands nature, solves problems and creates innovative solutions. Keywords: Natural sciences, integration, methodology, quantum computing, ecology, STEAM, primary education, society, artificial intelligence. INTRODUCTION Natural sciences develop the skills of evidence-based thinking, logical analysis and a scientific approach to problems. They play a decisive role in forming a culture of critical thinking and informed decision-making in society. -Determine the place of natural sciences in the system of modern sciences: Analyze in what areas they play a key role. - Explain interdisciplinary connections: Show the connections between natural sciences and other sciences (social, technical, humanitarian). - Reveal practical significance: Highlight the application of natural sciences in areas such as everyday life, industry, healthcare, ecology. - Determine future prospects: Show what new sciences, technologies and solutions can arise on the basis of natural sciences. What is a system of sciences? A system of sciences is a consideration of various areas of human knowledge as an interconnected, orderly and logical structure. Each science has its own research object, methodology and practical application, which together serve the development of society. Features of the modern science system - Interdisciplinary integration: Such areas as biology and computer science (bioinformatics), physics and chemistry (physical chemistry) have emerged. - Applied areas: Sciences are not only theoretical, but also focused on solving problems (for example, environmental problems, health care). - Technological basis: Areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing are opening up new facets of the science system. - Responding to global problems: The science system plays an important role in solving problems such as climate change, energy sources, pandemics. ISSN: 2181-3906 2025 International scientific journal «MODERN SCIENCE АND RESEARCH» VOLUME 4 / ISSUE 7 / UIF:8.2 / MODERNSCIENCE.UZ 686 Main groups of the science system Groups Examples Description Natural sciences Physics, chemistry, biology He studies the laws of nature. Natural sciences are a set of sciences that study phenomena, processes, and laws occurring in nature. They form scientific knowledge through observation, experimentation, and analysis of real-world objects and phenomena. Main branches of natural sciences Subject name Research object Physics Matter, energy, motion, forces Chemistry Composition, structure, reactions of substances Biology Tirik organizmlar, ularning tuzilishi va funksiyasi Geology Earth's crust, rocks, geological processes Astronomy Planets, stars, universe Ecology Relationships between the natural environment and organisms These branches are closely interconnected and form the scientific basis of the modern system of sciences. Each branch contributes to the development of society. Each branch deeply studies a certain aspect of nature through its object of research. Together, these sciences form the system of modern scientific knowledge and become the basis for technological progress. - Physics and chemistry have developed methods based on experiments. For example, Galileo and Newton created laws based on experience. - In biology, observation and classification methods (Linnaeus' systematics) have enriched the methodological approach. - Geology and astronomy have improved the method of drawing scientific conclusions through long-term observations. - In ecology, methods of systematic analysis and an integrated approach have been formed. The influence of natural sciences on the system of modern sciences. ISSN: 2181-3906 2025 International scientific journal «MODERN SCIENCE АND RESEARCH» VOLUME 4 / ISSUE 7 / UIF:8.2 / MODERNSCIENCE.UZ 687 - The STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) is widely used on the basis of natural sciences. - Virtual laboratories, interactive experiments, and modeling methods are derived from the methodology of natural sciences. - Scientific methodology is also being applied to other disciplines (social, technical, humanitarian), which is strengthening interdisciplinary integration. Scientific methodology of natural sciences. Observation: Direct or indirect study of phenomena. Experiment: Testing a theory in practice. Modeling: Representing phenomena in mathematical or graphical form. Analysis and conclusion: Analyzing and generalizing the data obtained Characteristics of natural sciences - Objectivity: Explains phenomena based on evidence, not personal opinion - Universality: Laws are valid all over the world (for example, gravity) - Empirical basis: Knowledge is confirmed through experiments - Dynamism: Constantly develops with new discoveries Importance in society. - Provides the basis for technological progress - Plays an important role in the fields of health, energy, ecology - Explains humanity's relationship with nature on a scientific basis. LITERATURE ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH METHODOLOGY The literature was sufficiently studied. Scientific articles, pedagogy and international systems were reviewed. Laboratory and curriculum were separately examined. Through natural sciences, students develop scientific thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Innovative research is carried out on the basis of scientific methodology: genetic analysis, quantum computing, environmental monitoring. Natural sciences are the basis of modern technological progress and directly affect the development of IT, engineering and energy sectors. They play a decisive role in creating a scientific basis, theoretical models and practical solutions. The literature analysis also shows that in primary education, observation, interest and logical thinking are formed in children through natural sciences. In secondary education, skills in obtaining knowledge based on scientific methodology and experience are developed through subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology. In higher education, natural sciences are studied in depth at the specialist level and prepare for scientific research activities. Natural sciences develop evidence-based thinking, a scientific approach to problems, and analytical skills in students. By gaining knowledge based on experience, students learn to think independently and creatively. Through virtual laboratories, simulations, and interactive platforms, natural sciences are being combined with modern technologies. This increases students' interest in science and allows them to apply knowledge in practice. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS We live in the age of science and technology: in the 21st century, scientific knowledge and technology have become the main factor in the development of society. Natural sciences are the basis of this process. ISSN: 2181-3906 2025 International scientific journal «MODERN SCIENCE АND RESEARCH» VOLUME 4 / ISSUE 7 / UIF:8.2 / MODERNSCIENCE.UZ 688 1. The need to solve global problems: Natural sciences play an important role in understanding and solving problems such as climate change, ecological imbalance, and energy shortage. 2. Innovation and interdisciplinary integration: Fields such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence are formed and developed on the basis of natural sciences. 3. Education and training: In the modern education system, natural sciences are one of the main educational areas and are of decisive importance in training competitive specialists. Natural sciences serve as the main foundation in the formation of scientific methodology, as they create knowledge based on experience, observation, and logical analysis. This methodology is used in all areas of the modern scientific system. Integration between natural sciences and social sciences is one of the important features of the modern system of sciences, requiring an interdisciplinary approach to solving complex problems.
