Technological compe encies o med a school do no su icien ly mee he equi emen s
imposed on hem. I we analyze he eadiness o schoolchild en o mas e echnological
compe encies, ha is: hei di ec inclusion in he ans o ma i e ac i i y ha is he basis o hese
compe encies, hen he e is a lack o clea ideas abou i s essence, s uc u e, and e idence-based
ecommenda ions o he de elopmen o echnological compe encies. The de elopmen o
echnological compe encies in s uden s is associa ed wi h he mas e y o a ious ypes o p ac ical

compe encies.
In echnology lessons, i was possible o c ea e a unique sys em o de eloping
echnological compe encies in s uden s o g ades 8-9 and de elop i s s uc u al and unc ional
componen s, as well as o iden i y and implemen pedagogical condi ions o i s implemen a ion.
The main goal o c ea ing a sys em o de eloping echnological compe encies in s uden s and
implemen ing i is o de elop in hem echnological and pe sonally signi ican quali ies, needs and
in e es s, alues, mo i es o p ac ical ac i i y, and mos impo an ly, echnological skills.

o he essence o echnological phenomena and hei in e ela ionships, o de elop he abili y o

o he . Ha ing analyzed pedagogical, psychological and o he special li e a u e, we ied o
conside in ou wo k he echnological compe ence o schoolchild en as an in eg al pa o
p o essional skills. Compe ence, which includes mo i a ional, o ganiza ional and con ol abili ies,
as well as pe sonal quali ies ha help o in ol e school child en in ans o ma ional
ac i i ies based on a ce ain algo i hm o ac ions. The de elopmen o echnological
compe ence o s uden s in seconda y schools is planned h ough he de elopmen and es ing o
an educa ional model, he c ea ion o ce ain condi ions in echnology lessons and ex acu icula
ac i i ies.
