o apply a balanced uni (balance shee ) based on he Sma Con ol concep [3].
A Sma con ol (o sma con ol) sys em is a complex ha analyzes, p edic s,
and au oma ically balances he s a e o he powe g id based on digi al echnologies,
a i icial in elligence algo i hms, and eal – ime ope a ing senso s [4].

connec ions (OSD) ( elay p o ec ion and di ision un il ex e nal ne wo k swi ches s a )
is used on p e-p epa ed sec ions in case o no mal mode iola ion as he alloca ed pa
swi ches o powe -balanced mode [9]. Then he mode is pe o med on he ne wo k wi h
synch oniza ion and no mal loading o he necessa y equipmen [10].
Figu e 1 (a, b) shows g aphs o empo al p ocesses du ing sho ci cui on he
ex e nal ne wo k wi hou Sma G id pa i ion (wi hou des abiliza ion) and when
con olling his me hod (wi hou des abiliza ion) [11]. In pos -eme gency mode, you
can see ha changing mode pa ame e s is no an eme gency [12]. The change in
equency is caused by he appea ance o a sho - e m dynamic powe balance in he
gene a o sha du ing a sho ci cui in he ne wo k and is s abilized by he s anda d
speed con ol de ice o he ene gy uni [13]. Thus, he as leading di ision allows he
ollowing [14]:

- ol age imbalance Kns is educed om -3% o 1%;
- eac i e powe low dec eases by 15–20 %;
- o al losses a e educed o 5–8%.
In he e en o an eme gency, he balanced uni in eg a ed wi h he sma Con ol
Sys em p o ides s able ne wo k ope a ion, allows o ene gy eliabili y, au oma ic
esupply and minimal losses [20]. Such a sys em is impo an in he nume ical
ans o ma ion o umo 110/35/10 kV nims ances [21].
