ecological philosophy. F om he pe spec i e o a chi ec u al
clima ology, he dep h design o he a cade-s yle e anda is ac ually
based on accu a e obse a ion o he sun's ajec o y. Th ough
pa ame ic simula ion, i is ound ha a co ido dep h o 1.8-2.2
me e s can o m a comple e sunshade e ec on he summe sols ice,
while ensu ing di ec sunligh eaches a dep h o 2.5 me e s indoo s
on he win e sols ice. This seasonal egula ion mechanism e lec s
he adi ional c a smen's p o ound unde s anding o na u al laws.
The spa ial o ganiza ion o he spli -le el layou e lec s he p ecise
con ol o moun ain mic oclima e. Compu a ional Fluid Dynamics
(CFD) simula ions show ha e ical heigh di e ences o 0.6-1.2
me e s in adi ional dwellings can o m a s able p essu e g adien ,
inducing ai o low na u ally a a speed o 0.3-0.5m/s. This passi e
en ila ion sys em o ms an op imal angle o 15-30 deg ees wi h he
local dominan summe wind di ec ion, achie ing an ai change a e
o 3-5 imes pe hou wi hou elying on mechanical en ila ion. A
eno a ion p ojec p ecisely con olled his angle a 22 deg ees
h ough pa ame ic op imiza ion, inc easing he indoo wind speed
by 40% and e ec i ely imp o ing com o in he ho and humid
en i onmen .
The egula ion o he i ual- eal a io o he cou ya d sys em is an
exquisi e en i onmen al con ol de ice. The mal en i onmen
simula ions show ha when he cou ya d opening a ea accoun s o
30-40% o he enclosed in e ace, i can no only ensu e su icien
en ila ion bu also a oid excessi e sola adia ion. T adi ional
c a smen solidi ied his a io in o an inhe i able cons uc ion ule
h ough he basic o m o " h ee ooms and wo e andas". The
alue o pa ame ic ools lies in con e ing hese empi ical spa ial
ela ionships in o quan i iable design pa ame e s and es ablishing a
" o m-pe o mance" mapping ela ionship.
In p ac ical applica ions, pa ame ic modeling has ealized he
c ea i e ans o ma ion o adi ional wisdom. Taking a illage
eno a ion as an example, a decision-making model con aining
mul i-dimensional pa ame e s such as clima e da a, usage needs, and
s uc u al pe o mance was es ablished o gene a e a design scheme
ha no only con o ms o adi ional spa ial cha ac e is ics bu also
mee s mode n unc ional equi emen s. Among hem, he op imized
design o he ea e co ido sys em inc eased he sunshade e iciency
by 35% and expanded he ac i i y space by 20%. This pe o mance-
based design me hod has gi en new li e o adi ional o ms in he
con empo a y con ex .

Cons uc ion Me hods
The con empo a y ans o ma ion o adi ional cons uc ion
echniques needs o sol e h ee key issues: p ocess s anda diza ion,
pe o mance imp o emen , and echnology inhe i ance. By building
a digi al win model con aining all elemen s such as ma e ials,
s uc u es, and p ocesses, BIM echnology p o ides sys ema ic
solu ions o hese p oblems.
In e ms o ma e ial inno a ion, pe o mance simula ion suppo ed
by BIM has p omo ed he scien i ic imp o emen o adi ional
ma e ials. Taking ammed ea h walls as an example, by es ablishing
a co ela ion model o ma e ial a io-mechanical p ope ies- he mal
pe o mance, i was ound ha he imp o ed o mula wi h 25-35%
ice husk ash has he op imal comp ehensi e pe o mance: he
comp essi e s eng h eaches 2.5MPa, he he mal conduc i i y is
main ained a 0.8W/(m·K), and he humidi y egula ion pe o mance
emains abo e 90% o ha o adi ional ma e ials. This da a-based
ma e ial op imiza ion no only e ains he ecological cha ac e is ics
o ea h walls bu also mee s he sa e y equi emen s o mode n
buildings.
The digi al econs uc ion o he wooden ame sys em shows he
unique alue o BIM in c a inhe i ance. The ole ance con ol o
adi ional enon-and-mo ise join s has always been a di icul y in
c a inhe i ance. Th ough he dimension chain analysis o BIM, he
de o ma ion o wood unde di e en humidi y condi ions can be
accu a ely calcula ed, and an ins alla ion gap o 0.5-1mm can be
p ese . A es o a ion p ojec applied his echnology, making he
ins alla ion quali ica ion a e o mo e han 200 adi ional join s
each 98%, a exceeding he 85% o manual ope a ion. Mo e
impo an ly, he BIM model con e s he empi ical knowledge o
c a smen in o quan i iable p ocess pa ame e s, o ming a digi al
componen lib a y con aining mo e han 300 s anda d join s.
BIM's collabo a i e pla o m has also ealized he in eg a ion and
inno a ion o mul i-p o essional knowledge. In a demons a ion
p ojec , s uc u al enginee s, ma e ial scien is s, and adi ional
c a smen join ly pa icipa ed in he op imiza ion o he BIM model
and de eloped a new ype o bamboo-wood composi e s uc u e
sys em. This sys em adop s he mechanical p inciple o adi ional
Chuan-dou s yle (column-and- ie cons uc ion), bu achie es a la ge
span capaci y h ough mode n connec ion echnology. Tes s show
ha while main aining he adi ional s yle, his imp o ed s uc u e
has inc eased he bea ing capaci y by 40%, p o iding mo e
possibili ies o he spa ial eo ganiza ion o buildings.
Fundamen ally, he BIM model cons uc s a con inuously e ol ing

p ocess ope a ion low bu also includes in-dep h knowledge such as
ma e ial pe o mance da a, join mechanical cha ac e is ics, and

ag icul u al e a. This spa ial o ganiza ion is linked by blood ela ions
and mee s he li ing needs o ex ended amilies h ough a clea
hie a chical sequence. Howe e , he con empo a y u al social
s uc u e is unde going p o ound changes: he amily size has sh unk
o 3-4 people, he in e gene a ional li ing model has shi ed om
e ical cohabi a ion o ho izon al sepa a ion, and eme ging spa ial
needs such as home o ice and homes ay ope a ion ha e appea ed.
This ans o ma ion poses challenges o he adi ional spa ial model
a h ee le els: insu icien unc ional complexi y, lack o spa ial
lexibili y, and lagging echnical adap abili y.
The essence o modula design is he sys ema ic decons uc ion and
econs uc ion o space. In he eno a ion o Wuzhou's dwellings,

ammed ea h ma e ial, by adding nano-silica, has a comp essi e
s eng h wice ha o adi ional ma e ials while e aining good
humidi y egula ion pe o mance; he applica ion o bamboo-wood
composi e ma e ials b eaks h ough he size limi a ion o aw
bamboo ma e ials, making he econs uc ion o la ge-span spaces
possible. These echnological inno a ions a e no a nega ion o
adi ion bu a sublima ion o adi ional wisdom h ough mode n
ma e ials science.
The in-dep h alue o ecological eno a ion lies in econs uc ing he
human-land ela ionship. Th ough pa icipa o y design, illage s
ha e e-es ablished emo ional connec ions wi h he na u al
en i onmen in p ac ices such as ain ga den cons uc ion and local

3. Conclusion
The enewal o adi ional dwellings unde he u al e i aliza ion

con empo a y inno a ion. Taking Wuzhou's adi ional dwellings as
he esea ch objec , his s udy p oposes wo co e s a egies o "gene
decoding" and "scene empowe men ", and cons uc s a comple e
pa h o he con empo a y ans o ma ion o adi ional buildings.
The "gene decoding" s a egy, h ough pa ame ic modeling and
BIM echnology, ealizes he digi al ansla ion and c a
egene a ion o adi ional cons uc ion wisdom, comple ing he
