What is Life? Life is a system that generates, moves, and co‑evolves based on mutual demands by informational, structural and functional complementarity, repeating alternately divergence and convergence of functional complementarity and to evolve so that functional complementarity is balanced, in possibility and restriction in continuity and discontinuity of the world and itself in fluctuations of support and selective pressure across various scales. Life is a system that, through competition and cooperation in time and space, preserves within itself the resolutions of bottlenecks in energy, information storage, and functional complementarity with preferring collapse resistant nonlinearity, and thereby explores the deepening of its capacity to persist with. It organizes adaptive movement guided by internal models and interactions with the environment. yuichi.nishida.7g[ at ]gmail.com
