pedagogical pu poses. These include adio b oadcas s, podcas s, documen a y ex ac s, online
in e iews, public announcemen s, and ilm dialogues. Such esou ces c ea e oppo uni ies o
lea ne s o hea how English is used in eal-li e con ex s and allow hem o de elop mo e
ad anced lis ening s a egies [2; 98-p]. Realis ic lis ening inpu exposes s uden s o colloquial
exp essions, speech educ ions, pauses, and a ious accen s, all o which a e essen ial o
imp o ing comp ehension.

mo i a ion and imp o ed con idence compa ed o hose elying solely on a i icial ex book audio
[2; 134-p]. These indings highligh he impo ance o inco po a ing au hen ic esou ces in o
mode n English language eaching p ac ices.
Conclusion
In conclusion, au hen ic ma e ials play a i al ole in imp o ing lis ening comp ehension in
EFL con ex s. They expose s uden s o eal speech, aise mo i a ion, s eng hen cogni i e skills,
and p epa e lea ne s o ac ual communica ion. Al hough challenges exis , s a egic lesson
planning and eache guidance enable lea ne s o bene i signi ican ly om au hen ic inpu .
The e o e, he in eg a ion o au hen ic ma e ials should be conside ed an essen ial
componen o con empo a y English language ins uc ion.
