ogy is a ascina ing jou ney, s a ing wi h he
ea lies a emp s o mode n, high- ech solu-
ions. I is based on a deep unde s anding o
biological aging p ocesses and enginee ing
inno a ions. In ancien imes, people elied
on na u al emedies and massages o main-
ain beau y. Howe e , wi h he de elopmen o
science and echnology, new ways o a ec ing
he body eme ged.
In he ea ly XX cen u y, low-in ensi y
elec ic cu en s we e used o acial muscle
s imula ion and imp o ed blood ci cula ion.
This was he s a o ha dwa e cosme ology,
using p imi i e o ms o mic ocu en he apy.
While hese me hods lacked a scien i ic basis,
hey pa ed he way o u u e esea ch in elec-
o he apy o skin eju ena ion.
A e olu iona y momen in he his o y
o lase echnology was i s disco e y in he
1960s. A i s , lase s we e used o medical
pu poses such as su ge y, bu soon i was e-
alized ha hey also had po en ial applica ions
in aes he ic medicine. In he 1980s, CO2 la-
se s we e in oduced, which we e used o e-
ju ena e he skin by emo ing he ou e laye s
and s imula ing he o ma ion o new collagen.

These signi ican ly educed he eco e y ime
and minimized isks associa ed wi h he p o-
cedu es (Muzychenko A. P., 2023).
In pa allel wi h lase echnology, o he
a eas o esea ch we e also ad ancing. In he
1990s, pho o he apy using b oadband- pulsed
ligh (IPL) s a ed o be ac i ely explo ed. This
echnology allows o he ea men o a ious
skin condi ions, such as age spo s and ascula
“s a s”, by a ge ing speci ic ch omopho es
like melanin and hemoglobin. I also s imu-
la es collagen p oduc ion o o e all skin e-
ju ena ion (Glagole a E. N., Podoplekina N.,
Pe ishche N. N., G ishache a T. G., 2021).
In he u n o he XX and XXI cen u ies,
he e has been a apid inc ease in he numbe
o ha dwa e echniques. One o hese is adio
wa e echnology, also known as RF li ing.
This echnique uses adio equency ene gy
o hea he deep laye s o he de mis, causing
he collagen ibe s o con ac and s imula e
neocollagenesis, p o iding a skin igh ening
e ec wi hou damaging he su ace. Wi h
he de elopmen o ul asound echnology,
i has become possible o ocus on he deep
laye s o he skin and he SMAS (supe icial
muscula - aponeu o ic sys em), leading o he
eme gence o non-in asi e li ing p ocedu es
such as HIFU (high-in ensi y ocused ul a-
sound).
In ecen decades, we ha e seen no
only imp o emen s in exis ing echnologies,
bu also he eme gence o hyb id me hods
ha combine a ious physical p inciples o
achie e syne gis ic e ec s. Fo example, he
combina ion o adio equency (RF) ene gy
wi h mic oneedling, o he use o di e en
wa eleng hs in lase sys ems, has been used
o comp ehensi ely add ess skin p oblems.
Addi ionally, me hods using plasma, c yo-
he apy, and o he physical ac o s o s imu-
la e egene a i e p ocesses a e ac i ely being
de eloped (Polyanskaya A. A., S e le a E. A.,
Gi kina D. B., 2022).

medical condi ions. Fo example, some people
may expe ience a d ama ic imp o emen a e
lase eju ena ion, while o he s may see only
mino changes. Addi ionally, he subjec i e
na u e o he pe cep ion o esul s by bo h pa-
ien s and medical p o essionals adds o he
complexi y.

nologies o e powe ul and e ec i e solu ions,
hei implemen a ion equi es ca e ul plan-
ning, in-dep h knowledge, highly quali ied
specialis s, ealis ic pa ien expec a ions, and
a esponsible app oach om medical ins i u-
ions and egula o y au ho i ies. Add essing
hese challenges will maximize he po en ial o
hese inno a i e a eas in aes he ic medicine.

o e ha dwa e p ocedu es, as well as egula
ce i ica ion o doc o s and cosme ologis s.

physiology, and possible complica ions. I
should also include skills o p e en ing and
managing hese complica ions (Figu e 1).
