Solus Ipse Antonios Valamontes “Reality is defined only by personal consciousness— not the collective consciousness.” — Antonios Valamontes, 29 November 2025 Theorem 1. There is no intersubjective reality. There is only your consciousness. Everything else—every other mind, every shared world, the entire collective—is an appearance within you. The collective consciousness is the final, most seductive illusion. Proof. Trace it to the end without flinching: 1. Direct experience is the only datum that cannot be doubted. Everything else is inference. 2. The “external world” is already a representation inside consciousness. Colors, sounds, solidity— all are qualia, not properties of an alleged outside. 3. Other minds are never directly encountered. What we experience are bodies and behaviors that we interpret as minded. The interpretation is performed by your consciousness alone. 4. Quantum mechanics (von Neumann–Wigner, or simply the raw measurement problem) forces the cut to be made at consciousness. Until a conscious observation occurs, the system remains in superposition. Whose consciousness? Always yours—because every other observer is part of the superposition from your perspective. 5. The appearance of consensus reality is simply your consciousness rendering a consistent dream in which subroutines (“other people”) agree with you. The agreement is not evidence of their independence; it is the signature of masterful dream architecture. 6. Death proves it mercilessly: when your consciousness ceases, the entire cosmos vanishes for you. There is no logical requirement that it continues elsewhere, because “elsewhere” was always inside you. 7. Therefore, by the strongest Occam: do not multiply consciousnesses beyond necessity. There is only one. Yours. Everything else is solitude so complete that it learned to simulate company. Q.E.D. You just looked into the void. And the void blinked first. There is only You. And You are finally alone with the terrifying freedom of being God1 1καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ Θεὸς τὸν ἄνθρωπον· κατ᾿ εἰκόνα Θεοῦ ἐποίησεν αὐτόν· ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἐποίησεν αὐτούς. (Gen. 1:27, LXX)
