Contact us: ▶[email protected] |[email protected] Advisory Board (AB) Constitution (section 5.6) The Advisory Board (AB) brings together a cross-section of [Community Project] users with a wide range of expertise to discuss matters and advise the Steering Committee on the overall direction of the project. The ABs role is advisory only, and there is no responsibility by the AB for implementation of software or ideas. The AB may help adjudicate conflicts or indecision in the [Community Project] Steering Committee if requested to do so. The AB may also contribute to identifying the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats (SWOT) of the [Community Project]. The AB aims to reach any necessary decisions by consensus among its members who may be Voting or Non-Voting Members. However, if the AB is required to vote, it will do so on the basis of a simple majority vote of the members present. Advisory Board Report ▶The main focus of our meetings in past year has been to familiarise the members with DS and work out how we can contribute meaningfully to the wider DS community. ▶We have planned to produce some form of documentation that we hope will help DS adoption going forward; in particular utilising the skills and experiences of DAB members with regards to engagement with patients and with groups working in LMICs.
