Grammar is considered the main link of any language and it makes learning foreign languages much easier. Because grammar is based on every aspect of language. This article provides comparative information about noun in English and Uzbek speech structures. The results of my findings show that the noun of English and Uzbek languages is quite different from each other but there are some similarities in the sentence structure. Key words: noun, article, clause, possessive, objective Annotasiya: Grammatika har qanday tilning asosiy bo'g'ini hisoblanadi va u chet tillarini o'rganishni ancha osonlashtiradi. Chunki grammatika tilning har bir jihatiga asoslanadi. Ushbu maqolada ingliz va oʻzbek tilidagi soʻz birikmalari haqida qiyosiy maʼlumotlaar berilgan. Mening topilmalarim natijalari shuni ko'rsatadiki, ingliz va o'zbek tillaridagi otlar bir-biridan keskin farq qiladi, lekin gap tarkibida bir qator o'xshashliklar mavjud. Kalit so’zlar: ot, kelishik, artikl, ingliz tili,oʻzbek tili Аннотация. Грамматика считается основным звеном любого языка и значительно облегчает изучение иностранных языков. Потому что грамматика основана на каждом аспекте языка. В данной статье представлена сравнительная информация о существительных в английских и узбекских речевых структурах. Результаты моих исследований показывают, что существительные в английском и узбекском языках сильно отличаются друг от друга, но есть некоторые сходства в структуре предложения. Ключевые слова: существительное, падеж, артикль, английский язык, узбекский язык Grammar is very important for communicating effectively in English. It gives the structure and rules needed to express ideas clearly and understandably. Learning grammar not only helps improve writing and speaking skills but also gives a better understanding of the language. However, learners might find it hard to compare their native language with a foreign one, like English. In this article, we are going to compare nouns 1 There are two clauses of nouns possessive forms and objectives. We add possessive’s to nouns or noun phrases (groups of words containing a noun that can replace a single noun) to show that what follows belongs to them ( e.g the teacher’s car). The last word in a noun phrase is not always a noun. However, we can still attach’s to the last word in the phrase. ,,It’s that girl I told you about’s book.’’ INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “INTEGRATION OF MODERN LINGUISTICS WITH SCIENCE, EDUCATION, AND PRACTICE IN THE PROCESS OF GLOBALIZATION: NEW APPROACHES, OPPORTUNITIES, AND CHALLENGES”, DECEMBER 4, 2025 79 Something of something we can use ,, something of something’’ structure as an alternative to ‘s, to express family relationship, creation and place. Family relationships: the twin of the other girl Creation: the fifth symphony of Beethoven Place: the largest capital cities of Asia1. When it is compared in Uzbek language it should be distinguished 6 types of clauses like: bosh kelishik( nominative clause), qaratqich kelishik(possessive clause), tushum kelhbishik ( accusative clause), jo‘nalish kelishik ( dative clause), o‘rin-payt kelishik (locative clause). The system of meanings and forms expressing this meaning is called clause. ,,Shunday hovlimizning yonida bolalar oromgohi bo‘lardi’’. ,, Har yili dam olishga borganimda onamga gilam paypoq olib kelaman’’. ,,Qayoqdan olding? - dedi oyim ko‘zimga tikilib. Another difference is that there is an article in English, but not in Uzbek. We use a/an with singular nouns to indicate that something is not common ground, to announce that we are introducing something new, something unexpected or something that our listener/ reader is unaware of. ,, A habit is a routine or behavior that is performed regularly - and, in many cases, automatically’’. We use the to signal to readers or listeners that they know or will soon know what we are referring to. It triggers the listener or reader to search for the most obvious area of common ground in order to identify this. Context is usually the most important factor in helping us to complete this search successfully. ,, The Princess now stood and wept, the swineherd scolded, and the rain poured down’’. Articles in English and Their Absence in Uzbek One of the most fundamental distinctions between English and Uzbek is the presence of articles in English. Articles play a crucial role in determining specificity, definiteness, and the degree of familiarity. 1. Indefinite Articles (a/an) The indefinite articles a and an introduce something non-specific, new, or previously unknown to the listener: A habit is a routine or behavior that is performed regularly... Indefinite articles signal that the noun is being mentioned for the first time. 2. The Definite Article (the) The definite article the indicates that the referent is specific, known, or contextually identifiable The Princess now stood and wept, the swineherd scolded, and the rain poured down. Here, the nouns refer to entities already familiar within the narrative context. Uzbek and the Absence of Articles Uzbek does not use articles. Instead, similar meanings are inferred through: contextual information word order demonstratives such as bu, shu, o'sha Thus, while English requires grammatical markers to indicate definiteness, Uzbek relies more heavily on discourse context. In conclusion, it should be mentioned that grammar. My research shows that English and Uzbek have quite different noun, but their sentence structures share some similarities.
