This article reveals the peculiarities of the influence of social networks on the younger generation. At the same time, it examines the illusions common among young people and the mechanisms of the desire to move or deviate from the right path by immersing themselves in interesting activities. In today's global developing world, the active development of digital media makes the problem of their impact on people very relevant. Everyone is exposed to digital media and does not think about the powerful influence it has on the human mind and thinking. They are so deeply embedded in our daily life that we cannot imagine our life without them. Digital media has a great influence on the formation of people's social opinion, lifestyle, behavior and even dress code, but this is due to their psychological characteristics. Some information is obtained from the mass media, and at the same time, due to the integration of the modern media environment with the Internet, social networks, and the blogosphere, this environment is expanding significantly [1,3]. Today, Telegram channels, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and even TikTok pages are becoming widely popular in our country. At the same time, children and adolescents are active users of electronic media [4,5]. With the development of technology and the spread of digital media in the world, they are becoming more and more popular among young people. The use of digital media, such as social networks, messengers, online games, can have a significant impact on the formation of behavioral stereotypes in the thinking and worldview of young people.Childhood and adolescence are one of the most difficult age periods, which are considered the period of personality formation. If we talk about the psychological characteristics of the young generation, it should be noted that teenagers are people who have just begun to form, whose knowledge and experience cannot allow their beliefs to be strong and firm.This generation is more self-centered, sensitive to the evaluation of others, and they want to be recognized and appreciated. Difficulties during adolescence and a person's self-esteem can lead to problems with their safe entry into society.Juveniles in general, that is, deliberately disobey the rules and norms accepted in society, which often causes aggression and conflicts between society [6,8]. The world of digital media, while creating new opportunities for young people for entertainment and exposure, increases addiction and social isolation. It often leads to the development of aggressive behavior among young people. Research on the sociology of youth and digital media helps to identify problematic aspects of youth and develop effective strategies, as well as to understand the mechanisms of influence of digital technologies on human behavior. Behavioral patterns among young people can be very diverse and include both positive and negative behavior patterns. Some of these models can be cited. If friends and relatives do not take care of their health, young people will not take care of their health either. According to the model of positive behavior, including a healthy lifestyle and caring for nature, it can only be attractive to young people if information is presented to them in an innovative, interesting and convenient way [7,9]. When negative drug and alcohol use behaviours lead to belonging or popularity in their social group, these situations can be attractive to young people [1,8,9]. The basic psychological needs such as inspiration and desire in "Appeal of schoolchildren" are the desire to try on various social roles through information needs in mass media. Online monitoring of social networks often leads to problems such as aggression, violence, and suicide among children and adolescents. To understand the nature of the social problems of children and adolescents and the role of the modern media environment, it is necessary to understand the nature of this problem.We know that research shows that suicide attempts among teenagers are directly related to mental illness, neurotic state, complex family situation, stressful situations of various forms are the reason for the increase of assassination cases among young people. A study of the problem of commit by experts shows that in a number of cases, teenagers decide to commit suicide in order to attract the attention of parents and teachers. These problems are interpreted as feelings of loneliness, depression and anxiety, dissatisfaction. In general, with the advent of the Internet and social media, teen suicide has become a widespread problem.Although children and adolescents can easily manage information flows, they cannot filter information. They consider the information that they leave available to them interesting or useful, often not realizing that it is dangerous for them, because the user does not think about security measures when sending his personal information. In conclusion, it can be concluded that the results of the analysis of the impact of digital media on the modern child showed that the content of the media is reflected in its consciousness and forms. The Internet has become the main channel for obtaining information that effectively affects children and adolescents. The positive aspects of mass media influence include: satisfaction of cognitive needs, expansion of views, development of creative activity, as well as use as a consulting aid in establishing communication in the family and among peers when any problem arises. Negative aspects include viewing a large amount of negative content, obscene material, physical violence, suicide, information about drugs, voluntary social isolation: reducing the number of face-to-face meetings, as a lot of time is spent on virtual communication on online platforms.
