Abstract

In today's globalization process, each part of the education system is being revised based on the requirements of the times. In particular, vocational education plays an important role in the economic development of the country, increasing production efficiency and training competitive personnel in the labor market. The increasing demand for vocational education in the conditions of modern technologies and the digital economy requires updating the content and forms of training. Therefore, the widespread introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies, information and communication tools and practical training in the vocational education system is of great importance. In the training of future specialists, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, forming independent thinking and problem-solving competencies is becoming the main task of the educational process. Currently, project-based learning, problembased learning, dual education system, STEAM approach and the use of digital educational technologies are yielding high results. Thus, the modernization of vocational education is the most important factor in training competitive, modernminded, and creative specialists. Literature review: Analysis of scientific research conducted in the field of vocational education shows that the introduction of modern teaching methods is an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of education. Many domestic and foreign scientists have proposed various scientific approaches in this area. In particular, Uzbek pedagogical scientists such as A. Avloni, A. Qodirov, N. Saidova pay attention to the importance of developing independent thinking, creativity and SCIENCE AND PEDAGOGY IN THE MODERN WORLD: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS Vol. 3. Issue 9. 153 professional competencies in students. The theories of experience-based learning by J. Dewey and D. Kolb, as well as the concept of person-centered education by K. Rogers serve as a methodological basis for vocational education. In their opinion, in the educational process, the student should not be a passive listener, but an active participant, independently seeking knowledge. In recent years, the concepts of dual education, Project-based learning, Problem-based learning, STEAM education and digital didactics have been widely used. Reports published by UNESCO, OECD and ILO identify the broad introduction of innovative approaches in vocational education, integration of education with production, and development of digital competencies as priority areas. In the Republic of Uzbekistan, a number of regulatory and legal documents on the development of vocational education, in particular, Presidential Decrees, Cabinet of Ministers Resolutions and the Law “On Vocational Education”, have created a methodological and legal basis for the modernization of the education system. An analysis of these sources shows that the use of innovative and digital approaches in the training of future specialists is an integral part of the modern educational process. Research methodology: The methodological basis of this study is aimed at studying the effectiveness of innovative pedagogical technologies, a competencybased approach and digital educational tools used in the process of modernization of vocational education. The study used theoretical analysis, comparison, observation, synthesis, pedagogical experiment and statistical analysis methods. The main methodological sources of the study were the theory of the competencybased approach, active teaching methods, dual education system, STEAM education concept, digital didactics and innovative pedagogy ideas. These approaches serve to increase the activity of the student's personality in the vocational education system, form practical skills and develop independent thinking skills. In the process of the study, practical training, project-based SCIENCE AND PEDAGOGY IN THE MODERN WORLD: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS Vol. 3. Issue 9. 154 learning and teaching through digital platforms conducted in vocational education institutions were studied. Also, the practical direction of the research was to assess the innovative potential of teachers, determine the level of use of modern methods and analyze their relationship with the quality of education. As a result of methodological approaches, scientifically based proposals were developed to improve the professional competence of students and train competitive personnel in the labor market by introducing modern teaching technologies into the educational process. Conclusion: The results of the study show that today the modernization of the vocational education system, that is, its enrichment with modern educational technologies, is the most important factor in preparing competitive specialists who can meet the real requirements of the labor market. A future specialist must not only have his own professional knowledge and skills, but also be able to think independently, analyze problems and find solutions to them, work in a team and have a creative approach. Modern teaching methods - project-based learning, problem-based learning, dual education system, STEAM approach and digital educational technologies - allow to activate the learning process, develop students' practical competence and integrate education with production. In particular, the dual education system ensures an integral connection between theory and practice, which increases the employment rate of graduates. As the research revealed, the role of the teacher is also changing radically. Now the teacher is not a source of knowledge, but a mentor who develops, guides and motivates the student. At the same time, increasing the innovative potential of teachers, training them in the effective use of information and communication technologies has a direct impact on improving the quality of education. The use of digital learning tools in vocational education, the establishment of distance learning through online platforms, and the creation of virtual laboratories make the learning process more SCIENCE AND PEDAGOGY IN THE MODERN WORLD: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS Vol. 3.
