Scientific knowledge scientists science journalists using generative AI effects on science Risks Posed by Wearables to Data Protection in Sports Science as Identified by User Studies 47 Juraj Sikra RQ: Prioritizes user studies to focus on sports science research with athletes. Databases searched: Google Scholar, ACM-DL, Pro-Quest (Total N= 548). Results: 13 user studies that identified 10 different risks. Discussion: Multi-disciplinary work between data protection scientists and sports scientists will address this problem. Conclusion: This is urgent as the wearables market is unregulated.
