Abstract
This FAIR Bioimage Data Crossword Puzzle offers a fun and engaging way to explore key concepts, principles, and resources related to FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data in bioimaging. The crossword promotes active learning and discussion around FAIR practices, helping participants to familiarize themselves with essential terminology and tools used across the bioimaging community. The puzzle can be used as a gentle introduction to FAIR bioimage data concepts. You can tackle the puzzle independently to discover FAIR bioimaging terms at your own pace or, when you're already well-versed in those topics, use it for casual enjoyment during for example commutes, breaks, or group get-togethers. This crossword can also be used in a course-setting where educators might pair each term with a quick explanation, encourage participants to independently research the underlying resources and standards and spark deeper discussions once the puzzle is solved.
