As we approach the project’s third year, our shared commitment to strengthening the evidence base for future EU agricultural policy continues to guide our work. Project activities have advanced across all work strands. Our modelling teams have developed analyses on sustainability pathways, food system transitions, and policy scenarios, with emerging results now available in open-access publications and two policy briefs at our Zenodo Community page. This progress has been complemented by workshops, technical exchanges, and coordinated policy dialogues that support a coherent integration of modelling insights. Collaboration with Horizon Europe projects has strengthened, particularly with LAMASUS and BrightSpace. Following the January working meeting, the three projects finalised a joint perspective paper on the future of EU agriculture, presented at DG AGRI in June, published on Zenodo in July, and disseminated at multiple events since. These interactions highlight the value of aligning expertise to support EU policy discussions. ACT4CAP27 has also been actively represented at key events, including the EAAE Congress in Bonn, EC workshops on agricultural policy modelling in Brussels, and at the 43rd SCAR meeting, allowing the project to share emerging insights and strengthen networks across policy and research communities. Capacity building has remained central. Training sessions in June, including the AGMEMOD workshop and CAPRI modelling session, offered hands-on learning for practitioners and researchers, while the Agri-Food Modelling Young Researcher Network (AMYRN) has started providing young scholars with opportunities for exchange, learning, and visibility in the EU research landscape. Stakeholder engagement has deepened, notably during our second stakeholder meeting on 6 November, which enabled dialogue across policy, science, and sectoral communities. The ACT4CAP27 Stakeholder Platform continues to facilitate interaction and co-creation. Looking ahead, 2026 will be a milestone year as we enter our third project year in March, to be celebrated at the annual meeting in Madrid. This will be an opportunity to review achievements, refine priorities, and align our work toward delivering full analytical contributions to the post-2027 CAP debate. We sincerely thank all partners, contributors, and collaborators whose engagement and expertise drive ACT4CAP27 forward. Stakeholders’ insights remain crucial in shaping our work, and we greatly value your contributions.
