Vol..4, Issue 9 ISSN:23490012 I.F. 8.1 NOVEMBER 153 environmental sustainability, and the formation of a local tourism brand. Bakhmal district is one of the regions with great potential for increasing the country's tourism potential with its natural resources, historical and cultural monuments. The mountains, rivers, forest zones and ancient monuments of the region create favorable conditions for the development of ecotourism, health tourism and cultural and historical destinations. At the same time, the flow of tourists and the efficiency of services are limited due to the current underdevelopment of the tourism infrastructure and service system of the region. This article analyzes practical ways to improve the efficiency of tourism services in the Bakhmal district, existing problems and opportunities. The results of the study indicate the possibilities of improving the tourism attractiveness of the region by improving the infrastructure of the region, improving the quality of services, developing marketing and branding strategies, as well as involving the local population in the tourism process. At the same time, the issues of ensuring environmental sustainability and sustainable development of tourism throughout the year are also of great importance. Literature review: The issues of developing tourism services and increasing their efficiency are widely covered in international and domestic scientific literature. In world experience, the main task is to comprehensively manage tourism economically, ecologically and culturally, improve the quality of infrastructure and services (Kotler, Bowen & Makens, 2016; Medlik, 2012). According to UNWTO reports, ecotourism, health tourism and rational use of local resources have a significant impact on the regional economy. In the conditions of Uzbekistan, Presidential Decrees and Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolutions on the development of tourism (PF-6091, 2019; QM-450, 2020) identify the development of regional infrastructure, private investment and the quality of service as a priority task. Local researchers (Sharipov, 2020;
Vol..4, Issue 9 ISSN:23490012 I.F. 8.1 NOVEMBER 154 Usmonov, 2019) emphasize the need to effectively use ecotourism and recreational resources, increase local employment, and improve marketing and branding strategies in the development of regional tourism. The analysis shows that the effective development of tourism services requires a multifactorial approach: infrastructure, service quality, marketing, diversification of tourist products and environmental sustainability must be taken into account as a whole system. It is this approach that will allow the full use of tourism potential in the Bakhmal district. Research methodology: This study used a comprehensive methodological approach to determine the effectiveness of tourism services development in the Bakhmal district and to study existing opportunities. The main subject of the study is the tourism potential and service system of the region; the object is the Bakhmal district. The study studied national and international scientific sources, presidential decrees, Cabinet of Ministers resolutions, and regional statistical data using the analytical analysis method. This method made it possible to assess the tourism resources, infrastructure status, and quality of services in the region. The comparative analysis method was also used to compare the Bakhmal district with other mountain and recreational areas, helping to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the region. The study also used empirical methods: the opinions of local residents, entrepreneurs, and tourists were studied through questionnaires and interviews. This data served as the basis for determining the quality of services, tourist needs, and practical problems of tourism in the region. Also, using geographic and cartographic methods, natural resources, transport networks, and recreational zones in the Bakhmal region were mapped. This made it possible to optimize tourism infrastructure, taking into account regional characteristics Results and Discussion: The results of the study showed that, despite the tourism potential of the
Vol..4, Issue 9 ISSN:23490012 I.F. 8.1 NOVEMBER 155 Bakhmal district, the existing opportunities are not being fully utilized. The natural and recreational resources of the region - mountains, rivers, forest zones and national parks - create favorable conditions for the development of ecotourism, health and sports tourism. At the same time, the limited transport infrastructure, the lack of modern hotels and resorts, and the low quality of service limit the flow of tourists. The results of the questionnaire and interviews showed that the local population is poorly involved in the tourism process, and marketing and regional branding are not sufficiently developed. The SWOT analysis revealed the strengths of the region - natural resources, ecological cleanliness and the presence of national parks; weaknesses - poor logistics and digital infrastructure, insufficient diversification of tourist products. Opportunities - state support, private investment and growth in global demand for ecotourism; threats are related to environmental pollution, climate change and increased competition. As a result, for the effective development of tourism services, it is necessary to modernize the infrastructure, improve the quality of service and marketing strategy, create new types of products and attract local residents. This approach will serve to increase the tourism attractiveness of the region. Conclusion: Bakhmal district has high tourism potential and has the opportunity to develop ecotourism, health and cultural tourism through the natural, cultural and historical resources of the region. The results of the study showed the need to improve the transport and hotel infrastructure in the region, improve the quality of services, develop marketing and branding strategies, diversify new types of products and attract local residents to the tourism process. At the same time, the issues of ensuring environmental sustainability and sustainable development of regional tourism throughout the year are also important. If these recommendations are implemented, tourism in Bakhmal district will
