Po olio echnology Po olio echnology can be desc ibed as he skills necessa y o guide, co-o dina e, and e alua e a mul iplici y o e ail concep s wi hin one co po a e body. This in ol es echniques which enable managemen o gain a holis ic pe spec i e o he po olio o di e en business concep s which supplemen and suppo each o he owa ds achie ing he objec i es o he co po a ion. These echniques should acili a e a ealiza ion ha each business uni has a dis inc mission, ole, and posi ion in he ma ke place; ha each uni could be a a di e en s age o he ins i u ional li e cycle; and ha one concep could be used o shield o he concep s om hea y ou side compe i ion.
