Cadavre Exquis. Más allá de la Frontera. Investigación Gráfica en la Transferencia del Conocimiento
Abstract

3130 Celeste Fernández Moncada Comisaria If we could walk through Cabaret Voltaire during the first two decades of the last century, we could witness the encounters of some surrealists, such as André Breton, Robert Desnos and Tristan Tzara. Located on top of a theater, it became one of the most important cafés in Zurich, hosting political and artistic meetings where creators could express themselves freely, without worrying about censorship. In this context, not only society was questioned, but also the rules of art itself, which gave rise to trends such as the Dadaist Manifesto and laid some of the bases for Surrealism. As part of a game in which the cited authors had to say the first thing that came to their minds, they came up with the phrase "the corpse - exquisite - will drink the wine - new". As part of this experimental poem, the concept presented by the works in this project emerged. The exhibited pieces are the result of the dialogue between a total of twenty-four tandems formed by an Argentinean and a Spanish artist. Transcending geographical borders, the works reflect a digital graphic resulting from a game between two authors who have explored the possibilities of this concept within the era of globalization, as well as the limits of individuality and collectivity within the artistic process. As part of a long process of getting to know each other, establishing a common thread and sharing ideas that complement each other without revealing any of the results, the works are transformed into a visual dialogue. Beyond the time differences and the 15,000 kilometers that separate us, the new media helped to establish a connection on personal and artistic levels, making possible a play of ideas that Si pudiésemos caminar por Cabaret Voltaire durante las dos primeras décadas del siglo pasado, podríamos ser testigos de los encuentros de algunos surrealistas, como André Breton, Robert Desnos y Tristan Tzara.
3332 Celeste Fernández Moncada Comisaria range from issues such as colonization, personal stories, pop culture or scars, among other themes. In conclusion, the collaboration between Spanish and Argentinian artists through the Digital Exquisite Corpse has allowed us to build bridges between cultures, and to create as a result of a constantly evolving artistic conversation. This project demonstrates the conviction that creation can transcend borders, and for this reason, we open the doors to future explorations of digital connections, as they are tools that are a source of innovation and connection in contemporary art. visual.

The innovation of this project is more than notable when international artists make the social effort to interpret themselves until unsuspected limits. It is worth mentioning, therefore, the origin of this universal project without limits, which is titled “Contemporary operations in visual symbolic production and its influence on the training process in Arts - experiences in

In October 2022, our most international researcher, Ramón Blanco Barrera, introduced us to Bibi Anguio, a professor at the University of La Plata, Argentina, who came to visit us in Seville, with the Program of Stays of Researchers from Other National and Foreign Centers in Departments and Research Institutes of the US. By chance, due to a joint project between Ramón como IP and Bibi, where we sought to evaluate the contemporary discourse of the image from a current perspective, it was proposed that our Research Group HUM337: Plastic, Sequential, Experimental Libertango 2010 Recopilatorio Libertango - Buenos Aires hora cero Astor Piazzolla
4140 Manuel Fernando Mancera Martínez IP Grupo HUM337 Art of Printing and New Technologies. Theory and Praxis, a joint project will be created, with artists from Argentina, which Bibi considered would be an experience. Using a hierarchy, not a hierarchy, of culture, eclecticism, mixture, and nomadism, they would be able to form a duo where innovation, evolution or progress could produce a new symbol of abstract thought to form, from appropriationism, deconstruction or hybridization, a new model within the intellectual discourse that is generated from the creative. Beyond the freedom of content, which is strengthened and nourishes us throughout history, the interest in locating and promoting, in pairs, and from a self-constructive perception, the concept of cadavre exquis to design, establishing it from the idea, a univocal multiple image. The challenge has been to build a dialogue between forty-eight unconnected authors. Personal dialogues and intimate references, kneaded in a melting pot of experiences, have cohered moments of adventure with which to build a bipartite personal world. The experience has been as unsettling and estampación y Nuevas Tecnologías. 4342 Manuel Fernando Mancera Martínez IP Grupo HUM337 extraordinary as it can be to think in someone else's head the truth of a unknown illusion. Thanks to the technologies that protect us today, we have been able to build, in a friendly time, an aqueduct of educational information. Feeling the educational as the pragmatic decoder that clarifies what we did not know before. Thanks to Instagram and/or Drive, it has been possible to dialogue and create, in synchrony, something diachronically dissociable in space. The experience turned out to be so well received that in that same month of October the pairs were designed, by choosing researchers from the HUM337 group who fit, in a sense Between both sides of the Atlantic, thanks to Bibi Anguio and Ramón Blanco who knew how to see the discursive strategies that could build this #MonsterOfIdeas. A decalogue of good practices was generated so that everything was agreed and facilitated the good work of the mixed group. And once the common thread was delivered, each couple could, and should, design their conceptualization. The enriching management of being able to build, from the unknown in time and space, even extraordinaria como puede serlo pensar en cabeza ajena la verdad de una ilusión desconocida. 4544 Manuel Fernando Mancera Martínez IP Grupo HUM337 though the digital could connect and unite us, was a magical transgression of the normative. The synthetic-technical connection danced a tango of the senses among the thoughts of a beautiful seductive genesis. Little by little, one began to see the imaginary connectors that were developing from the imagined word. The reason for the agreement turned into the contract of a new world with free entry for the rejoicing of others. A window into the singular duplicity of thought. The diorama stopped in the gaze of the collective. Carousel of different scenarios for the same way of seeing and understanding life. Art as the driver of a machine greased by creative minds. The maps of a treasure that finds friends in the distance of the broken line. The manifest secrets in the plastic arts of a bifocal work. Finally, the project Contermporaneous Operations, based on a Conceptual Exquis Cadravre, designed by the HUM337 group with Manuel Fernando Mancera Martínez as the person in charge, + the project with Ref. VIIPPIT-2022-III.3A entitled Contemporary Operatorias in Visual Symbolic Production and its Influence on the training process in Arts-Experiences in Spain and Argentina with Ramón Blanco as Principal Investigator of the University of Seville, and the Tetra-Annual desde lo desconocido en el tiempo y el espacio, aunque lo digital nos pudiera conectar y unir, era una mágica transgresión de lo normativo. Argentinian and Spanish Artists Share Poetics. This March 2024, the project has its replica in Spain with a new curatorial design curated by our researcher Celeste Fernández Moncada, who has been able to find in the Exhibition Hall of La Misericordia, in Lebrija, the ideal place to show the research proposal on this side of the world. An intellectual reflection on graphics that consolidates yet another project of creative innovation with which our HUM337 group works.

Everything absorbed by the silence, except the breath. The other person sleeps. Only her face can be seen. A gray penumbra devours everything. It absorbs everything. It makes everything invisible. The other person sleeps. Hanging by a thread. Everything always hanging by a thread. Every heartbeat and every breath. But now it's obvious. A colorless thread. A thread interwoven with other threads, with other lives, with all living things. Paint the minimum. If it is posible to be less, less. Only his face can be seen and nothing else matters either. The thread that keeps the heart and breath alive is invisible. What is seen is only the face. Between the sheets and the blankets that turn blue, that turn gray around the edges. Regular breathing warns that consciousness is silenced. Then? That miraculous thread that keeps everything alive, that keeps the other person asleep. He instills immense respect. The sleeping face hides an unfathomable mystery. The one of life, existence. The possibility of being Nothing can be extended. You can't get stronger. The camera will capture more and more (each new camera will do so); Until there In the intimacy of everyday life, in moments of rest or stillness, the artist's observant gaze and reflection are activated. Between honest, real poses and gestures, the need to retain that present is born, to contemplate and value it, in this way time is no longer something that can be measured by its extension, but by its intensity, by its extract, "the extract of the simple" -it used to be called-. Specific moments stop in the resignification, making an obviously affective present infinite, being past. It is hard to let go of the bonds of affection, just as it is hard to let go of the good moments to which one always wants to return, but that is life and time, and one way to retain them is through pictorial representation, because not only the moment is captured but also caressed with brushstrokes and perfumed with colors. "The simple things" are those everyday things, where they were happy and would like to return, lingering in the sunlight of a noon, to heal. It is the moment of silence, stillness, rest and introspection, like Vallotton's "Femme endormie", in this case it is a tacit sun, which transmits the warmth. Before the silence and the luminosity, the rest in thoughts and the strong sun, a heat that protects and burns, similar to silence, which is beautiful at times but the constant silence can also damage. The everyday immersed in it, just like "La mujer de los perros", an unavoidable but apparently enjoyable silence, in the intimacy of another woman. It has a singularity, that of broken hearts, possible love sickness... loneliness and mind play for and

Like an impertinent notary who wants to write everything down. Record, own, save, treasure, convert it all to more and more quantifiable pixels. But to tell something direct while at the same time resonates with the echo of one's own existence, one must release ballast. Brancusi knew it. The echo only sounds when there is distance and emptiness; a lot of emptiness At least try, seek to drop the ballast. More or less clumsily, sometimes with the fear of not being docile to the camera (yes, there are cameras and records and the possibility of playing the notary who knows everything). There are times and moments when it seems that a single word would break everything, as in the deepest poetry. That's the reason to say almost nothing, until silence. In the Great Silence you only hear the drops of water, the birds outside, at times a bit of plain chant (which could supplant a song by the older Battiato, with the slight voice that remained). Paint the minimum. Let the support breathe. The cardboard support slightly waterproofed. The cardboard is impregnated with Chinese ink and acrylic. It seems to want to absorb all the water. All the pigment. It makes it disappear over and over again, like the gray of the dark room. Successive glazes, brush touches, transparencies. Seeking to build tenuous fields of color, almost flat, matt, muted, in which the light vibrates in a muffled manner, muted Color Fields, about to be absorbed again by grey. Outside, on the surface of the old stone walls, the lichens turn yellow. They green. They redden. They yellow. The blue breast. Between sheets and blankets, between greys.

101100 Edicita Sarragoicochea 233 | Ramón Blanco Barrera Altered societies of today represent a kind of collection based on the production of visual works, artistically designed, and materialized from the research work carried out on the factors and elements of social change in digital art practices through artistic integration keys within the current everyday environment. We diversify and evolve unparalleled towards the horizon of the unknown, but at the same time already experienced by nature. We are judges of the puppet stage entrusted to us by a timeless universe without rules, decoded by human gods. The interpretation is multiple and its reflections infinite, while we continue wandering aimlessly with our eyes set on the afterlife. Commitment and artistic responsibility must invade us in order to contribute to all this chaos and anarchy; because the strength, the conviction and the power of persuasion that art has in all kinds of scenarios is unmatched to any manifestation or way of understanding human. As the main goal of all this research, it has been explored and, therefore, reached the conclusion of a production of visual work of plastic composition. A complex and not at all easy company that responds to a need created internationally in a universe so disparate that, after all, it unites us. We are stars of the same firmament. Thus, it has been prepared for this purpose, proposing a new approach from the artistic system, following a series of experiences lived internationally in the first person through democratic and integrating keys within the daily environment and from the current context of Digital Culture, to superimpose all this flow of sensations in a collection of specific pieces. The number of people involved in this existential game forms a construct of knowledge that is juxtaposed "Flesh", from the materiality that speaks in photography, in the transparencies, textures and traces of what is a sensitive register of superimposed "sensations". The Flesh, the naked flesh, shows itself brutal, material and fibrous like any flesh that ages and is reborn. In the flesh we suffer, we feel and in short, our "being flesh" reveals itself as a privileged way to know ourselves. Our flesh is always changing because our flesh is that which, by suffering, enduring and thus experiencing itself, enjoys itself according to impressions that are endlessly reborn, just like each of the impressions that compose it, in life. Bodies immersed in the singularity of their personal history. Embodiment as body, incarnating, subjective bodies that go beyond the biological, physical bodies traversed by discourse, independent of biology and which take on a place of their own, indissolubly linked to the symbolic. The body is full of stories that are scars or wounds on the flesh. Deep sensations on the skin that leave a mark. All its sensibility is absorbed by different supports that contained it at different times, a physical memory of the body for the place it passed through, a journey that singularises it and makes it unique from the territory it travelled through to the Cultural where it inhabits. Materiality incarnated from the plastic creating a new design superimposing and veiling new images for a new artistic production.

129128 Jimena Pezzucchi Sofía Clarí Rodríguez What would happen if one of our ancestors came to the present time? How would they feel about everything? Would they feel free, happy about progress, or stressed about things like losing respect for elderly people? both maybe? These questions, as a guiding thread, start a feeling that seeks depth, like the one found in the medicinal songs performed by Simon Jano, compiled from the anonymous popular tradition of the Amazon and in which they "bring" their grandparents or ancestors back to the memory. Many of them experienced migrations from countries or cities, with changes in customs that uprooted; because of the war or to look for a better future. The grandparents of the "Isla Mínima '' in Seville came from Valencia, attracted by a better price for buying land and with the aim of growing rice in the marshes of the Guadalquivir river in Seville just as they did in the Valencia lagoon. Writers such as Blasco Ibáñez reflected the atmosphere of the time with the cultivation of rice. Some series such as La Barraca and other more current ones like Alberto Rodríguez, at the “Isla Mínima”, showed the environment of this migration in post-war times. It is due to this mixture of cultures and languages that the collage technique itself is coupled to the idiosyncrasy of the feeling, integrating different elements that end up forming a single one that, over time, will speak a single language. Bringing to mind or mobilizing a family tree tends to attract feelings of belonging, where we come from, why we are here and even what our mission in the world could be; what can we do to improve it or improve the immediate environment. Today's migrants find it easier to return to their "Remembering as a vital human activity defines our links to the past, and the ways in which we remember define us in the present. As individuals and as members of a society, we need the past to construct and anchor our identities and to nurture a vision of the future. Andreas Huyssen We live in times of hyperconnectivity, where we are influenced daily by hundreds of images that reconfigure our notion of time and media, times where we can be in several places at the click of a button. Rarely do we stop to look in depth at what is happening. In this sense, "Sincronía" is a work that proposes a pause, a meeting point for memories and a dialogue with individual and collective memory. As for the technical execution of the work - digital collage - it has a material and a symbolic dimension associated with the interweaving and superimposition of spaces and times. There coexist the written letter, the postage stamp, which locates a point of departure or arrival, photography and digitalisation as an unavoidable current resource to make these encounters possible. A halo of childhood and play pervades unknown and borrowed images, yet the heritage of a shared era makes them feel like our own, even though they are thousands of kilometres apart. The intention is to bring back grandmother's stories, cousins' games, places that were witnesses of laughter and work, of cooking and embroidery, of strange and paradoxically identical synchronicities.
131130 Jimena Pezzucchi Sofía Clarí Rodríguez To capture the essence of the moment, to dialogue with the past that forged our present, to share, synchronise and recover in order to reconstructor possible futures. starting points, even if it was once or twice a year, both because of transportation facilities and communications. In the narratives of these former emigrants we can read, listen... how they have lived without electricity, without a bathroom inside the house, without a telephone, computer, mobile phone, and even so, they were happy in their own way, or perhaps the little material they had could be valued more. They were actually more aware of inner and spiritual wealth. An innocent party or party with music and drinks would be the equivalent to the current massive concerts. The energy of the new acts as the engine of progress, the first liberties, the clear improvement, when it cannot go worse, the gratifying feeling of progressing and helping the family or seeing that work can have a positive consequence, in a few years. Historically, migrations show an evolution in clothing that reflects the fascinating adaptability of the human being, the struggle of genders or races, this clothing being another tool of submission: neutral, dark and sober colors for a time of recession, materials natural and simple, fair beads and simple hairstyles made for picture day. They wanted to bring color and joy to all those neutral tones, smiling at the question of how would they feel today? What would that grandmother I never even met think if she had the opportunity to travel to Argentina? Are we really that different despite being so far apart? As if it were a Matrix, the data converges forming a network where the real and unreal merge with a somewhat ghostly and atmospheric halo.

143142 Bibi Anguio Gema Climent Camacho Graphic-plastic project between two cultures that coincide in an innovative and creative work, as a result of personal labor, the work titled "Entrelazados II" belonging to the field of contemporary graphics arises. Inspired by the floral compositions that commemorate every year in the International Contests of Córdoba. The symbolic element flower that accompanies beauty, is used for its different variants and colors, as a result of reflection and research in the development of an idea. Offering the modest joy of Mañanas Campestres (Santaolalla, 1972), keeping the secret of ancestral cures and at the same time of ancient fears like those of Nazareno Cruz (Leonardo Favio, 1975), the flowers of the valley are small_one would even say hidden_if it were not for the fact that they appear at every moment as the walker passes by. Just like the beautiful Andalusian patios, the mountains are full of (tiny) pretties: • Chupa Sangre (also called hierba del golpe) is good for soothing bruises. • With a couple of drops of the Santa Lucia you can relieve tired eyes. • Achicoria and Carne Gorda delight in salads. • Tumiñico is a nest and food for hummingbirds in the valley. • The Campanilla Morada cannot be cut. If someone takes it, it rolls up and scorches. • The Chinita del Campo mixes simplicity and haughtiness. • The Margarita punzó claims federal primacy in these lands. • La Revienta caballos is a pale star with a malignant reputation. Often difficult to find on Google, with (sometimes) no name in Latin, they have the key, wich belongs to Doña Pabla, the village healer, (and for all of us) of healing and beauty.

159158 Fabiana Chiani Memelade | Sara Cumalat Jiménez embellished by putting a flower instead of a stitch, many of them would look like a field. And they have no choice but to live with their personal garden. And persevere. Because no matter how much time passes, the wounds end up healing, but the scars remain and so do the grandmother's embroideries, because they are almost eternal. Perhaps the best thing is that the things that happen, those women and their wounds are not forgotten. That they remain embroidered in history. Bordame flores, it is a request. To ask that with a small gesture, a stitch, to remember everything that women fight for on a daily basis, to be able to close wounds, to be able to see how each and every one of the flowers that inhabit the immense field that is the world bloom. And of course, never forget those who were cut at the stem or who could never germinate. Because it seems that words are carried away by the wind, that word of mouth does not end up working, but table linens are passed from generation to generation and embroidery has not been forgotten since it began. Now in the technological era, it is even easier to stitch. For this work is digital and the skein of threads from which it is born, its network, is virtual. Whether you have needles, a stylus or the keys of your computer, you are more than capable of taking that small step so that everything reaches its splendor. Be that as it may, embroider flowers, please. Embroidery as a protagonist, reimagined as a vindicating weapon, unites feminine tradition and feminist innovation. To create textile images that resist oblivion and cry out for justice, embroidery is an act of surrender, love and radical tenderness, for all those women who lost their lives because of their sex and gender condition. Perhaps we embroider because we want to create something beautiful from the pieces we pick up from hell. Because a few hands can transform things and we need to transform them into beautiful things because many hands are already working on making the detestable, the unmentionable, the incomprehensible. Needlework, a discipline linked to women's work, plays a fundamental role as a means of expression against gender violence. What we are looking for is for these pieces to remain as a memory, but also to echo the fact that those of us who are facing this context of violence against women are organized women, collectives, organizations from different fronts. The starting point for this work was "Muses", Conrad Roset's most personal work. In it the female figure is the main protagonist. Conrad's muses are sensual women, delicate young women, of fragile appearance, that the author always presents us naked or semi-naked. Black line drawings outline the woman's body, stained with splashes of color. Watercolors, pencils and pastels, give color to this erotic and at the same time sweet series, which the artist dedicates to his muses.
161160 Fabiana Chiani Memelade | Sara Cumalat Jiménez From the appropriation of the work, as a contemporary operative, we resignify his muses to shout with threads, with stitches, with complaint, so that they last and never remain in oblivion. The idea is to create an artistic dialogue that overcomes distances, political, geographical, cultural, spatial. Gender violence exists here and everywhere. We can see it in our environment and we don't like it. We don't want to live with it. This is our way of shouting to the world.

164 165 María Teresa Díaz Sainz Analia Acerbo Transoceánicas La naturaleza se abre camino de infinitas formas. Todas diferentes, insospechadas, maravillosamente sorprendentes. Destinados a encontrarnos y a encontrar nuestro destino.

171170 Analia Acerbo María Teresa Díaz Sainz Nature makes its way in infinite ways. All different, unexpected, wonderfully surprising. Creating new links, findin new connection points, written in our dna. Destined to meet and find our destiny. Discreet, silent, serene, almost impreceptible evolution, and yet gandiose, that shakes our spitit when there is no turning back. It’s done. They are reactions whose catalyst is none other than love. Love understood as positive energy that moves from the smallest being, to the universe itself. And infinite, mathematical, exact, calculating and warm consciousness at the same time. We are immersed in it, we are itself, like a pleasant amniotic fluid, infinite, salty, eternal sea, and umbilical cord at the same time. She doesn’t give up, he doesn’t rest. Don’t give up. A beetle that was born rare starts a transatlantic journey. What common body joins Seville and Cordoba? What does it take to cross? Can a little bug cross the great waters. It pulls the I-ching, it says it can. It has the map inscribed on it, it has its identity as the sun. It knows little of the sea. He was born in a land of mountains, Mediterranean land of a country that has its identity as memory. He left on a trip one day in March, a month that in his land becomes more Memory than at other times. Perhaps he seeks in his journey what he needs to know more about himself. He knows that his ancestors walked in Egypt, he knew that they were venerated, that there they are symbols of resurrection. He knows all that, he knows more. But he needs to travel, to cross the ocean. To wet its shell to understand about vulnerability, to get a little lost to go through untrodden paths. Six legs to swim, two antennae to catch the dangers and also the blessings. A sun. Why go out into the ocean where you know nothing? Why leave its quiet mountain range? Why undertake the journey? Perhaps because the other way is to die inside. To become numb and be one more beetle. To let go of the sun and be gray, or worse, to be transparent, not to be seen, not to be imagined. Maybe he needs the journey to know what he is made of. To decipher its labyrinth.

Yo no sabía muchas cosas. No me interesaban. MEMORIA, VERDAD, JUSTICIA a determinados momentos históricos.

203202 Roberto Crespo María del Mar García Jiménez May you live in interesting times! Who would not want to live in an interesting, fascinating, captivating, exciting time full of stimulating experiences? Strange as it may seem, this famous Chinese proverb is not the result of a wellintentioned wish. On the contrary, it is a curse that evokes the fears, dangers and uncertainties that characterise certain historical moments. If, according to Hegel, happy times are blank pages in history, then the interesting times are those in which the population faces or has to face difficult, painful and irrational situations, as the extremely interesting present shows. It is almost impossible to imagine a more interesting time than today. The world has not yet recovered from the economic crisis of 2008 or the terrible scourge of the pandemic, when suddenly new critical conjunctures appear, hovering in some way over all social structures and threatening the tranquillity that daily life promises without too many shocks. Whether we like it or not, we are assailed by disturbing feelings of insecurity brought on by an extremely interesting, constantly challenging, convulsive, turbulent and unsettling modern age. The situation forces people to deal with serious experiential insecurities. To mitigate the effects, certain political manoeuvres at various geostrategic levels target the specific worldviews of the respective populations. Occasionally, reasonable policy proposals are identified with the parties concerned. At other times, misunderstandings challenge and strain to the point of completely undermining the solidity of the force that springs from the individual sense to collectivity. Their dynamics manifest themselves mostly organically, often perversely, cruelly, feedback and allencompassing. They are insatiable, growing and thriving, becoming stronger and stronger. "Hopefully you live in interesting times (and don't realize it until they're over)" - Chinese Curse. WOMEN x MOTHERS I sincerely believe that it is time to start balancing the essence of our stories, in productions that tell the same, from our cultural viewpoints that we have built and lived naturally, and result in a certain message to give, to whoever wants to see them. Hebe de Bonafini said: "Before my son was kidnapped, I was an ordinary woman, just another housewife. I didn't know many things. I was not interested in them. The economic question, the political situation of my country were totally alien to me, indifferent. But since my son disappeared, the love I felt for him, the eagerness to look for him until I found him, to beg, to ask, to demand that he be handed over to me; the encounter and the shared longing with other mothers who felt the same longing as mine, have put me in a new world, have made me know and value many things that I did not know and that I was not interested in knowing before". MEMORY, TRUTH, JUSTICE
205204 Roberto Crespo María del Mar García Jiménez Looking back at our own country, we can see as an immediate and particularly telling example the effects of restrictive economic policies introduced to mitigate the effects of interesting times such as the Great Recession. Under the guise of their demands, budget cuts in key areas such as public health have drastically reduced the quality of these services that are so important to the population. This period has not only revealed the end of a fragile and short-lived utopia of national economic prosperity, but has also brought home to citizens the staggering certainty of a reality that is tyrannical, relentless, and riddled with blind spots. Given the mobilizations of medical professionals and other collectives dependent on the public health system that make up the Spanish geography of this interesting modernity, the problem seems to extend to the current inflationary globalisation. The striking health workers are demanding a response to inadequate salaries, structural problems that make it impossible to access the resources necessary to carry out their work properly, or the impossibility of providing adequate and appropriate care to patients. The impact on the well-being of those who rely on public health care could be lamentable. So is the premature loss of loved ones, friends, family, of so many mothers... mothers... women as endless hoards of strength, confidence and support. As generous retaining walls against interesting times. For it is in the constellations of unbreakable relationships, in the natural order of things, there where people's lives intertwine, that a mother's love is found. They are the eternal refuge, the security in the unknown, our roots. Extremely simple or perhaps more complex, infinite in their struggle, dedicating their whole life to the education of their children,
207206 Roberto Crespo María del Mar García Jiménez facing multiple challenges, putting them before themselves. A more or less humble collective that carries the essence and warmth of home. And also because nothing can move the heart more than the loss of mum… the materialisation of that terrible fear so deeply rooted... her last words, her last look, her last smile... Mothers make the different environments in life work, even if sometimes hasty policies are adopted that do not adequately take into account the magnitude of the social impact. So let us not forget that budgetary adjustments in public health systems are also a matter of life and death.

A veces incluso doloroso. Encontrar pensamientos ocultos. Recuerdos bloqueados. Emociones perdidas o que estaría bien perder. Sentimientos rotos.

233232 Roxana Aveta Natalia Herrera Pombero The portrait as the reflection of the person: is that the exterior? the only image that the mirror returns? Does the retina manage to capture the whole of oneself? Definitely the reality of the self cannot be defined only by what the eye receives. Reality is complex, subjective, personal, multisensory and synaesthetic. The defining reality of each person is not only measured in what they project outwards in an image, but also in every smell they give off, every touch, every hairstyle or colour they wear, the taste of their kisses, the brightness of their gaze... But, above all, it takes shape through what lies beyond, in an immeasurable interior. Every past experience, every dream to be fulfilled, every goal in her future, every sliver of the present. And for that you have to look without looking. To feel, to think, or to let oneself go. This process of inner search is hard work, and this means that going deeper can be complicated, fragmented, tiring. Sometimes even painful. Finding hidden thoughts. Blocked memories. Emotions lost or that it would be good to lose. Broken feelings. Empty spaces where an image should be able to be revived but which rushed into hopeless oblivion, leaving the words on the tip of the tongue without coming to fruition. Sometimes, however, it is to sink into peace and calm. To let oneself float through the inner abyss without directing one's thoughts; to let them flow in a quiet meditation of knowing oneself, of recognising oneself. To love oneself. Portrait and Synesthesia. The image that becomes music, the song that becomes image, the curves, the comings and goings like the movement of a wave. Colors that come, appear, change and create an atmosphere. Portrait and Synesthesia can be defined as the identity of the sound that moves in the air leaving traces in its fleeting passage, disappearing in its own journey, sinking into eternity. In its movement it generates harmonics, represented, as in everything that has life; as in the growth of a plant, as in the skeleton of a snail, as in the harmonic sounds of the sea that with its inspiration and its exaltation that enters and withdraws from the earth forming in its journey different sonorous and visual harmonies. And within that sea, within that music that embraces all that is seen and unseen, is the person. The person who seeks his balance, expressing imbalance as well, with his swaying like the wave; with his love, like the love of water to the sea; with his presence, with his colors and wisdom. The fact of immersing herself in this experience made the desire to find the image become a permanent restlessness. The enthusiasm and all the options and possibilities to develop it ended in a decision, somehow the image should "sound". How sensitivities and vulnerabilities are touched, how a memory is evoked in this constant becoming. The water, the wave, the sea and the image of the woman begin to tell a story, to be poetry, to dance and to sound... while the portrait of a particular sound called Natalia appears.
235234 Roxana Aveta Natalia Herrera Pombero It is not just a matter of copying what you see of the other. Her lines, her colors, the tone of her skin, her expression, but also what is seen from a subjectivity that overwhelms in the search of always digging more and more in the forms, in the expression, in the fact of imagining her voice, of feeling her smell, in her look, in following the curve of her lips, of her laughter and that all this is conjugated in an image with presence. In addition, four elements were used to facilitate this encounter with the image: a film, which speaks of courage and bravery; a work of art that surely illuminated her heart; a song, which awakened sensitivities in her depths; and a book that shook her mind with ideas, metaphors and images that will accompany her forever. What is then to be found if not everything that defines a person? Books read more than once in search of sensations that have been provoked from the very first word. The films from which one ends up learning every dialogue. The art that conquered the retina and the emotion. For the colour. For the graphics. For the meaning. Perhaps it is all those songs that accompany the development of each one's personality, being in every celebration, in every romantic date, in every mourning... The landscapes travelled through that remain engraved in every pore of the skin, in the lungs, in the sole of the foot. The hugs that were given. The kisses that were consumed. Each caress felt with an electric shiver that makes the skin bristle. Thus, each person cannot be understood as a mere reflection of a part, but as an eclectic but united whole. A perfect symbiosis between each element, even of each tiny, tiny, insignificant-looking part. Roxy is indefinable. For everyone but her. Only a part of the whole, of her image, of her music, of her memories, of her experiences, of her emotions, can be touched. This is just an attempt to scratch something of that which is Her All, through just four elements that go beyond her conventional portrait: a song, a film, a book, an artistic work. And with them, an attempt to understand her emotions from the author's own, listening to what she hears, perceiving what she feels, seeing what she sees, reading what she reads.

257256 Ariel Nazareno Stivala ParaLosQueAmanDemasiado | Manuel Fernando Mancera Martínez Epiphany This is the story of a forgotten god. Lost for ever and ever so long ago that no one remembers how he came to be forgotten. The true story of a god who wanted to be ...forgotten. Alienated in better worlds, he lost himself in the abyss of infinite confines. He thought that in this way he could reach the truth and, with it, make everyone see him as he should be and did not know. Sad, and pushed to the extreme of reason, he ended up being forgotten. His intentions to achieve the supreme good made him enter a metaverse in which he felt happy without knowing why. He only advanced step by step in order to achieve greater fortune. No one ever knew of what he saw in those places. From time to time, inexplicable stories came to him, which they branded as madness or inventions, and they never gave credence to those fabulous descriptions that, in one way or another, seemed not to have transcended the primitive task: I am working for the proto-goodness. Thus, after the time in which any mind can invoke memories, everything was lost, and that god that was once venerated and worshipped in the greatest altars covered the supplications with silence, punished with the wear of the dethroned some altars for windows of new deities, defeated the voice that called him by extravagant chants that everyone repeated, but no one understood, covered the past with dust. Owner of you, owner of what, owner of nothing? An altar for Marcel (and for the urinal manufacturer, today converted into a binary code)1 The demigod, believing that his creation belongs to him, looks at his own navel and tears his clothes when Barthes2, Foucault3, to name a few, proclaim his death. His egolatry blurs his vision, he does not notice (or does not want to notice) the complex network that connects him to other people. Although it was not always so, today, history shows us that each new work is a quotation of others that preceded it and that are happening at the same time. In turn, these are quotations of others; and so on until it is impossible for us to find an origin. Faced with this landscape, the demigod strives to cover the sun with his hand, in an unsuccessful attempt not to disappear. In his struggle, he proclaims himself sovereign of a ghost world where the rules that govern it have been meaningless for more than a century. Perched on his throne, fewer and fewer subjects praise his genius and the wonders of his intellect. The exodus is inevitable, in search of a land where the collective is not synonymous with the loss of subjectivity. Understanding that the subject is constructed with others (including machines) and that his decisions are conditioned by these links. In its very extensive tradition, the self-portrait is a mirror in which to look at oneself and a showcase to show oneself. But what happens when this task is entrusted to an artificial intelligence program? 259258 Ariel Nazareno Stivala ParaLosQueAmanDemasiado | Manuel Fernando Mancera Martínez It is not known when, nor at what moment, immersed in a predestined addiction that he had assumed in that perpetual and persistent space, he saw beyond reason. He did not know how, but his fingers began to create that primordial idea through which he had entered the absence of his own being. To this end, connected with that primitive intelligence on which he had been working for some time, he devoted himself to implement his thoughts and make that entelechy correct him, over and above his innate power, perfecting his own excellence. Once he had played with it to the point of boredom, so that he was not able to distinguish his own self in it and vice versa, it occurred to him to return, and once he was clear about it, he wanted to make a grand entrance. For this he was going to build an entourage of scintillating worshippers based on the programmed teaching with which he had lived. By means of prompts of additive representation, an algorithm would give shape to his superpowered replicas. He was already dreaming of the day when he would once again appear before his former devotees. He would once again lead the faith of illusion. His entourage would be headed by characters capable of raising temples with their words, or of taming wild beasts just by raising their hands, there would even be protectors of whatever his magnanimous gaze encompassed, or magical doers who would grant rest just by touching you... It seemed fun to him to do that: mixing capacities and skills, dressing each one with a personal and recognizable model, in truth he was diluting Theodore with Samantha4, control gets out of hand. The other side of the Gesell camera is a succession of zeros and ones that combines what it sees through the glass with millions of extraneous images inserted into the flow of history. The machine, in its artificiality, is in charge of showing the real; that net that the demigod, blinded by pride, insists on denying. Images do not belong to us, at least in the sense that Modernity gave to intellectual property. A lot of water has flown under the bridge about this since Duchamp (or his friend, or his alterego Rrose) built a fountain with a urinal. The past is there to be appropriated in order to imagine alternative futures; not to stay anchored in it. We can learn from machines other ways of being-together, where the collective transforms individuals into subjects; who live, create and think simultaneously and in synchrony. Let us appropriate the images. It is time to put an end to self-promotion and let others appropriate ours. Images have no meaning if we do not use them to think about ourselves and to understand the world we live in. Therefore, dear reader, feel free to do whatever you want with the image that accompanies this text.

271270 Analía Rodríguez Eduardo Molina Soto In the weft is the set of affinities that make possible what is, but also what could be, had the warp that conditioned it been another. But the first is the definition. And a mixture of the first three entries in the dictionary of the Royal Academy would be useful, leaving out any fraudulent, deceitful or cunning aspect, since good faith and mutual trust have been the tone that has set the overseas collaboration. Certainly it must be confessed that the effort was not easy. There's the quid of the question. Studying what the other does. Trying to take it to the battlefield itself, but respecting the essence of others. Going back to the weft, what an evocative word: Jorge Drexler has in his discography a song entitled “La Trama y el Desenlace”. Well that, perhaps the beauty of doing is the process itself, regardless of the result. Getting carried away by the ideas that the other contributes; everything provisional, everything on the wire, evanescent and always promising change. In this, Lars von Trier is a master. In The Five Obstructions , from 2003, he recreates over and over again the same thing that is different, because reality is polyhedral, because art has no pattern, but rather is a flow that, catching, wounds. That hymn to the wound, to the vulnerability of the action of seeing is what Byung-Chul Han underlines in his little work Saving Beauty (2015). He says "without wound there is no truth, not even true perception". Hypothesis N° 58: The boulder wrapped in that map was left uncovered. The pillow was empty, but the traces he kept were enough to understand how hard it was for him to fall asleep. In a hectic and competitive world, where there is never enough, where each person is measured by how much they can produce, Beto tries to find relief in the simple act of resting. He rests his head on the pillow and allows himself to feel fragile, unprotected. The adrenaline that during the day pushed him to fulfill his obligations almost like an automaton, drops little by little, and he can feel as if he is shrinking, like a balloon that loses air until it is flat. His heavy head has so many stories stamped on it..... Every blow and every drop of water that sprayed it marked it, molded it, made it lose its edges little by little, but it remains firm, without breaking. Every day, Beto gets up, takes his head off the pillow, and is ready to return to his path, to that desperate race where each one struggles to move forward trying not to be crushed, sometimes colliding with other Betos, while they are being molded, becoming a little smaller, losing their edges, but without breaking.
273272 Analía Rodríguez Eduardo Molina Soto The truth has guided the collaboration that, like an uncontrolled weft, a warp that becomes persistent, comes and goes despite the distance, beyond the seas. It goes for you.

295294 Nancy Noemí Midena José Luis Panadero Albuquerque Two complete strangers make an exercise in personal introspection, using random patches of colour superimposed on a piece of paper and with the sole intention of making an "artistic" intervention on them, in order to let out what reasoning could never see between the lines. Art appreciation must focus on questions that question how art is made today. This includes such things as how a portrait is drawn, how objects are constructed, how virtual and conceptual art is used, and any subject that art wants to explore. Everything humans produce has its own, personal, unique symbolic value, whether or not it conforms to a culture's idea of beauty or is purposely ugly, it has a symbol and a message behind it, directed towards itself. It is like a language that builds a structure and communicates a message. An art object interacts with the observer, be it the artist or the viewer, as a person does, it fascinates us or leaves us indifferent. It conveys a message or it tells us nothing. As in any dialogue, the quality of this interaction depends on both parties. Both have to contribute their point of view. The observer and the observed have equal weight in the equation. From a spot of colour on a piece of paper, every human mind can create a whole world, with no limitations to creativity, since it arises from Two random and superimposed spots are the genesis, where a process of infinite possibilities begins, which can be interpreted as a fusion of two languages. With all the implications that this encompasses, it can be thought that codes of associations typical of a totally unique and subjective journey will be woven into them. A dialogue can take place when those involved understand what is being communicated, but art has a plus where the senses are amplified and the multiple interpretations come to enrich said action. The new image, created by the integration of the spots, has the quality of revealing the way of interpreting the world of each one. A free production, with the sole premise of seeing and following what emerges from the reinterpretation of the same stain, results in another final image, which has imported, alien links in its structure, which are necessarily incorporated creating a new discourse. Reality is created by each one and in each work, traversed by different moments that give it dynamic nuances. Time is precisely the great condenser of all the factors that make up the gaze, that seeing loaded with lucid and unconscious experiences.
297296 Nancy Noemí Midena José Luis Panadero Albuquerque inspiration and not from logic and reasoning, based on the data obtained from the subconscious and turning them into symbolic creations outside of aesthetic conventions. A free and subjective expression of the unconscious, based on spontaneous execution and the use of chance as an operative resource. In the same way that the "reality" that surrounds us is defined by the management and interpretation of complex and often ambiguous and contradictory data between our conscious and unconscious mind, the artistic work is a world full of information that we interpret in our own way, where any previous knowledge is a form of interpretation, which can distort reality.
