This image corresponds to the work carried out within the development cooperation project Artistic Education and Human Development. To strengthen artistic-cultural education for the integral development of children in the social context of Anantapur (India) (Vicente Ferrer Foundation and University of Seville), from 2015 to 2018. Specifically, the fotography "El reflejo" is located within the activities carried out at the end of 2018 in the "High School for Inclusive Education" of Anantapur, a centre where children with and without visual disabilities are cared for, learning and training together and in collaboration. Summary of activities where the image "El reflejo" is contextualized: The first artistic-educational sessions have focused on the concept of self-representation: a presentation of the group, an approach to the project and the discovery of each of the people who share the experience. All of us are equally important and necessary for the project to be carried out. • Self-portrait on paper Self-portrait in braille paper in which, subsequently, a special message is inserted to be read without the need to see. For the visual representation of their portraits, they have used mental images, from memory, and resorted to touch to discover factions of their faces and thus transfer them to the two dimensions of the paper. • Playing with reflection The main element of this dynamic is the mirror. With it, they explored and played with the possibilities of the self-portrait: the reflection of the person from different perspectives, giving importance to different parts of his body, and including companions. • Self-portrait on the mirror The mirror as an impression mechanism of our identity and its possibilities of relationship with the environment and the person. The painting on the mirror became a playful and identitary dialogue with a mirror that favoured creativity and searches for other dimensions of the person through the plastic possibilities of an original chromatic exercise for students and teachers. The mirrors have been donated by the "El Reflejo" glassworks and have travelled from their factory in A Coruña to Anantapur.
