International Journal for Computational Vision and Biomechanics EDITORIAL The fifth issue of the IJCV&B, which constitutes the first issue published in 2010, includes ten papers related with biomechanics, human motion, image segmentation, registration, recognition and medical imaging involving authors from eight countries. These articles express the multidisciplinary of the journal and the accentuated interest on the journal by the international scientific community. As a reminder, we may note that the main aim of the journal is to promote a comprehensive forum for discussion on Computational Vision and Biomechanics related topics; namely, between physics, mathematicians, engineers, clinicians and others experts. We would like to express our acknowledgements to all the authors and reviewers that have joined efforts in order to achieve higher standards to the journal and to keep the expectations of the scientific community.
