ETS 2022 Distinguished Service Award The IEEE European Test Symposium (ETS) Distinguished Service Award is sponsored by the ETS Steering Committee to honor individuals who have made long-lasting and distinguished services and contributions to the ETS. Award Criterion The award recognizes the long-lasting and impactful service of an individual over a significant period of time, based on the level and number of contributions, leadership, excellence, dedication, and tenure of service, provided towards the founding, establishment, and sustainable success of ETS. Nomination and Evaluation Process The ETS Distinguished Service Award Committee is appointed by the ETS Steering Committee and is responsible to solicit and evaluate nominations, and provide a recommendation to the Steering Committee which makes the final decision. Nominations can be submitted by anyone actively involved in the ETS community (e.g, in the organization, technical program, and/or attendance). A nomination includes an advocacy statement by the nominator, which explicitly addresses the award criterion as well as the main reasons for which the nominee should receive the award. Based on the above process, we are pleased to announce that the ETS Distinguished Service Award for 2022 goes to: Professor PAOLO PRINETTO for His significant role as one of the founders of ETS, and his exceptional, long-lasting, and impactful contributions in the organization and establishment of the ETS. The award will be formally handed over during the plenary opening session of ETS’22. ETS Distinguished Service Award Committee: Maria K.
