We distinguish between those that offer: ✔References to documents ✔Full text From Bibliotècnica we can access all the databases in a specific subject area, by name or type of access. Specialised databases Web of Science A web platform used to consult ISI databases. It is produced by Clarivate Analytics. FECYT is the institution that holds the licence. A multidisciplinary platform. Contains references from 1900 onwards and is updated weekly. Contains bibliographic information on over 22,000 journals. It has bibliographic references to conference proceedings, patents and journal summaries. It also includes citations, statistics on scientific output and assessment indicators: the impact factor and the H index. Specialised databases Access to databases from Bibliotècnica Web of Science Web of Science Select: Federation of Spain by FECYT Web of Science Select the institution: Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya Web of Science Search options Search history Chronological scope Web of Science Search options Search options in principal core collection of Web of Science: Documents: allows the search from the fields: subject, title, author, name of publication, year of publication… Cited references: to search for articles that cites an author’s work. Allows you to search by cited author, cited work, year of citation… Researchers: allows the most precise works’ search of an author. In 3 steps, it possible to distinguish the authors with same names. We can combine wordkeys with boolean operators AND, OR, NOT. We can use the proximity operators SAME (la misma frase) o NEAR/n (separados por N palabras). Podemos utilizar símbolos de truncamiento: *.?.$. Las “” recuperan la frase exacta.
