2 Resumen La adherencia al tratamiento se entrecruza con el mismo cumplimiento de las prescripciones médicas, objeto predilecto en el estudio del campo de la Psicología Médica dentro del ámbito de la Psiquiatría. Ambos conceptos poseen un marcado protagonismo en la clínica médica siendo abordados desde especialidades médicas dispares. La Psicología Médica, dentro del área de la Psiquiatría, se plantea cuantos elementos participan de una u otra forma, sean éstos determinantes, facilitadores o participativos. Asimismo, los fundamentos epistemológicos contribuyen decisivamente a su análisis, destacando su naturaleza. Términos, como el de alianza terapéutica, adquieren, asimismo, protagonismo, marcando un espacio nítido en el que psicoterapeuta y paciente se hallan directamente implicados con objeto de tratar y paliar el sufrimiento y las patologías que se presentan. En este trabajo, nos planteamos un doble objetivo. En primer lugar, determinar el impacto científico del estudio de la adherencia al tratamiento y, en segundo
3 término, examinar las diferentes estrategias existentes para evaluar dicha adherencia terapéutica, tanto en Medicina como en Psiquiatría, particularmente. A tal efecto, para responder al primero de los objetivos, se revisa la inclusión en la última década de dicho término en Scopus, considerada la base de datos o buscador multidisciplinar por excelencia, y, en segundo lugar, se revisa la literatura científica planteando como tópicos a estudiar la evaluación clínica de la adherencia al tratamiento en padecimientos determinados y en la patología psiquiátrica, concretamente. Igualmente, otras estrategias serán objeto de mención. Una vez concluídos ambos estudios, se presentan detalladamente los resultados obtenidos, destacándose el cada vez mayor número de registros del término adherencia al tratamiento, en Medicina, Psicología y Neurociencias, en general. Asimismo, se muestran procedimientos de validación de pruebas y el análisis de conceptos como el de cumplimiento de prescripciones médicas. Por último, se propone insistir en la evaluación de la adherencia al tratamiento desde la Psicología Médica, tanto en la vertiente estrictamente clínica como de
4 instrumentos de evaluación psicodiagnóstica. Se sugiere, igualmente, examinar la naturaleza de la adherencia al tratamiento ligada al cumplimiento de las prescripciones médicas en tanto a la respuesta al tratamiento y mejora de las patologías. Finalmente, se argumenta la necesidad de hacer extensible el concepto de cumplimiento de las prescripciones médicas al de indicaciones, también. Abstract "IMPACT AND STRATEGIES FOR EVALUATING ADHERENCE TO TREATMENT FROM MEDICAL PSYCHOLOGY AND PSYCHIATRY ". The adherence to the treatment interbreeds with the same compliance of the medical prescriptions, favorite object in the study of the field of the Medical Psychology inside the area of the Psychiatry. Both concepts possess a marked protagonism in the medical clinic being approached from medical unlike
5 specialities. The Medical Psychology, inside the area of the Psychiatry, appears all the elements they take part of one or it forms others, these are determinants, facilitators or participative. Likewise, the epistemological foundations contribute decisively to his analysis, emphasizing his nature. Terms, as that of therapeutic alliance, acquire, likewise, protagonism, marking a clear space in which psychotherapist and patient are directly involved in order to try and to relieve the suffering and the pathologies that they present. In this work, we appear a twofold objective. First, to determine the scientific impact of the study of the adherence to the treatment and, in the second term, to examine the different existing strategies to evaluate the above mentioned therapeutic adherence, both in Medicine and in Psychiatry, particularly. To such an effect, to answer to the first one of the aims, the incorporation is checked in the last decade of the above mentioned term in Scopus, considered the database or multidisciplinary excellent seeker, and, secondly, the scientific literature is checked raising as topics to studying the clinical evaluation of the
6 adherence to the treatment in certain sufferings and in the psychiatric pathology, concretely. Equally, other strategies will be an object of mention. Once conclude both studies, they present detailed the obtained results, being outlined every time major number of records of the term adherence to the treatment, in Medicine, Psychology and Neurosciences, in general. Likewise, they present procedures of validation of tests and the analysis of concepts as that of compliance of medical prescriptions. Finally, it proposes to continue in the evaluation of the adherence to the treatment from the Medical Psychology, so much in the strictly clinical slope as of instruments of psychodiagnostic assessment. It is suggested, also, examine the nature of adherence to treatment linked to the compliance of medical prescriptions in both the response to treatment and improvement of diseases. Finally, the need to stretch the concept of compliance with the prescriptions of indications, also argues.
