ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND COMPETITIVENESS To unde s and he highe educa ion ins i u ional compe i i eness we ha e o assume he o ganiza ional (company‟s) o ganiza ional cul u e and o ganiza ional compe i i eness. Schein (1989) de ines o ganiza ional cul u e as i is no hing mo e han " he basic assump ions, models o which he o ganiza ion's ex e nal and in e nal p oblems in lea ning and ha wo ked well enough o accep hem as alid and wo kable o simila p oblems." The concep o o ganiza ional compe i i eness, as a kind o su i al skill will be in which o ganiza ions con inually seek o ex e nal and in e nal en i onmen s, u ilizing, aligning ope a ions o ensu e he long e m.
