on plan seconda y me aboli es. Vola ile o ganic compound (VOC) emission by plan s,
in luenced by insec eeding o o iposi ion, can epel he bi o es and a ac na u al enemies.

Despi e being o en o e looked, mechanical in e ac ions be ween insec s and plan s
can be a he c ucial in he p ocess o hos plan selec ion by phy ophagous insec s. The
