I am extremely thankful and pay my gratitude to my supervisor Prof. Dr. Robert Schlögl for

giving me the opportunity to be a member of the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max-Planck

Society (FHI-MPG). His constructive criticism and inspiring guidance during PhD days and
